I have been to several locations this one by far is the best! The instructors of the classes are very nice and motivating. Out of the staff is  approachable and helpful.  This location offers everything anyone could need including a cinema cardio room.  Even the bathrooms are nice .I usually go to closer to my house but this one is my favorite! Preface - if you sign a contract you pay the money. Period. And if there are repairs this gym does take care of them in a timely manner. Things break (especially when people abuse the equipment-don't know what the heck they are doing) and it takes time to fix- so cut em a break. I have had no problems. I have been here 6x week for over a year and I have seen a lot of changes. 1. The staff now is absolutely incredible. I have never been to a gym where all employees are fitness motivated and really care about the customer/clients goals. They are all training themselves and always offer support/advice. Emily, Michelle and Cole at the desk are amazing. Knowledgeable, supportive and always there for great shakes and to answer questions. The customer service they provide is unmatched. Golds don't lose them. Thanks. Also readers- tip them if they make you a  shake ha. It's the right thing to do. Trainers- now I consider myself to be in great shape but I was hitting a plateau. So I spoke with the training manager Davon. He never pressured me to sign up for some crazy expensive without a conversation. He got to know what my goals were and motivated me challenge myself and directed me to have a conversation with a trainer he thought would be a good fit. I appreciated this. So I met my man Thomas... guys if you wanna WORK and wAtch your body transform - look no further. This guy has the focus and motivation like nothing I have ever seen. He has taught me so much about my body and diet. No one knows everything that's why training properly is important and if you wanna transform your body and your life I encourage you to go and speak with these trainers. Thomas is the best trainer I have EVER met or worked with- he will change your life. The gym is clean. The people are great. Showers sometimes spell like piss but that ain't their fault--- don't pee in the shower people and then come here to complain ha. For what you want in a gym this place exceeds expectations. More...

Best gym I've been to by far. I love the cardio theater room. It's nice to be able to workout while watching a movie. This is a great facility with great folks! Anyone who states otherwise is just an "online whiner". I was visiting from out of state and have a membership with Gold's gym in my home town/state, and found this location during my search. It's a very nice, modern and vibrant facility. If you are in the area and looking for a good gym with a great vibe, you have to try this place. Do yourself a favor and swing by and ask to speak with David. He will take great care of you. I have been going to Fitness Connection for years. It's was a time for a change. I had too many problems with my account. I completed the 7 pass on line for Gold's gym . Â I had to go to gym in order for the pass to be activated. Jan 29 th was my first time working out at the Harrisburg location. The staff gave me 7 day pass, but they didn't give me a tour of the gym...wow!!! Between 2 pm and 6 pm the gym isn't crowded, which I like. In my opinion this is the best golds in the area. The facility is always clean and equipment maintained and wiped down. There is enough space and equipment for everyone to use simultaneously. There is an exceptional biking and cardio workout as well as a cinema cardio room and ggx studio for classes that run regularly. The bathroom has its own sauna and clean showers. I've been utilizing this facility for the last 4 months. The entire staff is extremely friendly; however, I have to take a moment to highlight Brittany. She consistently greets every client with a smile and has an exemplary attitude. The facility has a broad range of equipment and offers a myriad of classes to its members. I have been coming here off and on for almost three years. It has been a few months since my last visit, as my NC membership ended and I moved away for a while. Having visited more than 30 Gold's Gyms across the country over the past 10 years, I can easily say this is one of the best smaller city ones and easily beats the other comparable ones with regards to equipment. The variety here is amazing, especially given its size. I have never had an issue with broken equipment as some other people have mentioned and I wouldn't hesitate to speak up to management if I did. I think it's easy to criticize with this media tool, but very few take the time to acknowledge greatness when they see it. I love this place and I hope others will come forward and offer a deserving review as well. No, I do not work for Golds, nor am I in the industry. From what I've seen this Golds gym is very clean and well kept. It's a comfortable gym and I like how the cardio is separated from the machines and free weights. They have a very nice studio as well as tanning and a separated cardio cinema. They also have very relaxing well kept locker rooms with couches and a TV, it also has a nice sauna. I'd recommend this gym to everybody that's serious about lifting and most beginners. I like how they really care about your lifting experience and your results and goals. More...

Went to this gym for a little over a year. Signed up for a year contract and have no complaints as far as the gym equipment or staff goes. Always a smiling face greeting you as you walk in. Equipment was pretty up to date, always clean and semi organized. Only negatives are the price. Pretty expensive compared to most gyms in the area. Also the contract is up but they auto renew until you go in and cancel, a bit annoying but I should have read it better before signing. Overall good gym More...
