Working with Amberlei is an absolute dream!! My husband and I were initially gifted a photo shoot with Amberlei for our engagement in 2020. Let me tell you, she has been a gift ever since! The last 3 years she has photographed our engagement, a boudoir shoot, our wedding, maternity pictures, and our newborn baby. The images speak for themselves and show off Amberlei’s eye for detail and impeccable ability of capturing who we are as a family. Her work is effortlessly classy and fun, with beautiful angles and lighting. On multiple occasions she took unplanned dreary weather days (smoke, clouds, wind) and created my all time favorite images! Each unique and full of character in ways that blew us away. We have a running joke that we need to buy a bigger house with more wall space to fit all her beautiful pictures! Aside from the actual photos, the experience of working with Amberlei is simply the best. She is fun, creative, great with children, and just overall a great time! My husband and I are not one for being in front of a camera, and she made us feel so at ease. Amberlei even went above and beyond creating playlists to listen to and inspiration photo albums to help guide us through the process and nail our desired looks. I highly recommend Amberlei for any event you need a professional touch. She is easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable being photographed. I hate being in front of the camera but you wouldn’t know it from our photos! They’re up on her website (Davenport). Our shoot was so much fun and the pictures are phenomenal. She’s professional, kind and has an eye for shots and vivid colors. I have recommended her out to all of my girlfriends for weddings, baby shoots, engagement shoots etc and they were all thrilled with her work. Amberlei was absolutely amazing, she has done an engagement shoot, and a pregnancy announcement shoot for us. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We love all the photos. She was easy to work with and listened to all our needs, I’m generally a very stiff person, but she made it easy to be myself and let loose and got some great shots while we could just be us and not have to worry about being posed perfectly!
