What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There's a lot that goes into making a good photograph, lighting, composition angles, color correction, and so on but to take a great photograph, you only need one thing. Emotion, if you can make someone feel something that's a great photograph
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to help clients with their creative direction on new projects, I like to view images with clients to see what kinds of things they like, such as lighting, poses, colors, wardrobe ideas, and locations. Some people have a clear idea of what they want and how it should look, others may need help with brainstorming, I'm happy to work with both.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that it's an ever-expanding field of knowledge. I like to push my limits and set new ones and so much of my journey with my camera has started that. It also makes me stop and look for the beauty in the world, it's all around us in small moments.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love photography and cinematography and I want to do it as much as possible, making a living off of it is just a bonus.
