We've used Gladrich for personal floral deliveries and have always been impressed by the arrangements received, so we contracted with them for our wedding of 150 guests. Owners/operators of this local florist are refreshingly friendly, professional & responsive. Same day delivery order was given their immediate attention. Although some floral substitutions had to be made, because the order was placed with such short notice, the finished product was amazingly fresh & delightful! I picked out and paid for a specific arrangement for Mother's day about 10 days in advance. It was set to be delivered on Mother's Day. As of Noon on Mother's Day I hadn't received confirmation of delivery so I called. The shop informed me it was out for delivery. 4HRS LATER I am told they missed my order and the only way they would deliver any flowers is I would have to send the 1 arrangement they had without a home or pick another day. By that time NO other florist is open so I was stuck with what they offered. They declined a discount or anything because it was worth the same value. Bad business practice. They made the mistake and should have made it right. Being a new owner with no flowers hop experience is not a good excuse for the lack of customer service. Update to a review my husband John left since I can’t reply to the original thread. I ordered a Mother’s Day arrangement 10 days in advance to be delivered to an out-of-state family member. I thought going to a local florist would be better than a bigger vendor like 1-800-flowers. What a mistake since even they admitted to not being able to handle the load. It was about mid-day on Mother’s Day when I still had not received confirmation on my order so I, the wife, called to confirm they had not only received our order but that it would still be delivered that day. The lady I spoke to on the phone assured me, yes we have your order, its on the truck for delivery, when he’s done you’ll have confirmation… Hours went by without an update. Until finally at the end of the day, when it was too late to do anything else for the Mom thats not local, I get a phone call and email from Gladrich Florist. They missed my order and they had one basket left that “didnt have a home.” My choices were she could take this basket and deliver it to Mom OR Mom could receive nothing on Mother’s Day. I’m sorry you confused resignation and futile acceptance as “happy”. I was anything but happy. I felt as though I had no other choice at 5pm on Mother’s Day when we live on the other side of the country. Yes the floral arrangement you offered was decent, and it may have been more expensive according to your reply to his review, but since it was YOUR error as well as NOT what we ordered, thats your failure. I hear your excuse as to being unprepared new owners, but don't place your inadequacies on the customer. Because you’re new owners and trying to build a reputation, you’d think you’d go above and beyond to make it right on such an important flower holiday. I asked for a discount while being offered substitute flowers and I was told they were the same price, NOT that they were more expensive and I would not receive a discount. But thats ok. Absolutely representing Top Notch customer service. I spoke with Carrie (sp) when they opened for the day. I explained what some of the different flowers I would like and she said she put together an arrangement off of that. Carrie said "Don't worry, we will make it very cool". Which is what I ask for. Wow!! They did not disappoint at all. A custom piece that was amazing. Arranged and delivered in a very speedy time frame. Three and a half hours after calling from Kansas, our daughter had her birthday flowers. And they even went out of their normal delivery range for me. Glaring Florist made the impossible, POSSIBLE ! There was an unexpected death in the family and I forgot to order flowers for the funeral from all the stress going on. I had 1h 30 mins before the funeral.I called around and no flower shop could help me and basically said I was crazy it’s Christmas time and NOT possible. Gladrich said she could do it and she did it in 35 mins with time to spare. We are forever grateful. She did an amazing beautiful job on our heart arrangement , which was need on this important day! The florist didn’t have what I was looking for, which was a Christmas cactus. I the cactus delivered in Punta Gorda, so Vicki offered to pick up a cactus, take it to the shop, create a nice planter for me, and then deliver. She asked when I wanted it delivered, and I asked for on or about Dec 15, 2021. The 20th of December, I called the shop as nothing had been delivered, nor had my credit card been charged. I spoke with Jocelyn, and asked that Vicki return the call. I never heard from anyone. I understand she was doing something outside the norm, but she offered, I didn’t ask her to do this. I’m disappointed that the offer was made, nothing came to fruition, and I wasn’t even shown the courtesy of a phone call to say, hey I don’t have time to do that. I wasn’t even shown the courtesy of a return phone call 5 days after the promised delivery date when I had to call and leave a message for follow up. I’m very disappointed with the lack of consideration and professionalism...courtesy, whether she was going to provide anything or not would have been sufficient. I wasted more than ten days to do something special because I thought something was being done on her part. Sometimes good intentions are just that!! VERY positive experience! A close relative was being moved to Signature Healthcare (just around the corner from Gladrich) and I wanted to get flowers to her ASAP, but I didn't know that her arrival had been delayed a day. Gladrich (Jocelyn) called me after twice being told there was no patient at Signature with the name provided. When I finally learned of the delay, they put the arrangement (carnation rainbow) back in the cooler and delivered it the next day.
