It was a long one day but the new garage floor is wonderful.   My wife had wanted the epoxy coating done but I always tried to tell her it was a garage floor and nobody sees it.  She went away for a week to visit family last week.   Her birthday was last Monday and I decided what better present for her than a new garage floor.  They did the floor the day after she left.   The end product couldn't have come out better.  Garrett did the floor and if he's available ask for him.   Good people to  work with.  And yes, they completed the floor in 1 day and the birthday surprise ended up being more than that. This is my first Yelp review because this company deserves it. Awesome operation with true professionals! I was moving into my house and wanted the ugly, cracked garage floor sealed. I contemplated attempting to do it myself and shopped around numerous companies before finding GF1D. They are a NO BRAINER - best prices in the area and they get the job done in one day instead of three like most competitors. They have the process down to a science and do not cut corners. They go out of their way to ensure the area is cleaned up before they leave. They called to let me know they were delayed in traffic on their way and still got to my house on time. We moved into an older house in the Northwood section of Irvine in early October and my new epoxy garage floors by GF1D are easily the one item that brings the most compliments from my friends and new neighbors. This has been such a treat! From the beginning talking with Tyler about their 1 Day process of epoxy, to my installation Go to Guy, Justin and his crew, they have been nothing but kind, thorough, professional and helpful.  It was super nice to have the epoxy floors all laid in one day.  They were very thorough and diligent thru out the day to do the zillion steps it takes to come up with the perfect finished product.  I felt such a trust in how smooth, clean, and well thought out each step was!  I totally trust this company and the find personnel they have working for them.  And, to top it off, their price was very reasonable and affordable, and I could keep the price down by opting not to use the higher cost poly apartic, which also had a high VOC off gassing. Rob was extremely helpful when I called to get more information on whether I should epoxy my garage floors myself, or have a professional do it once my house is finished being built. We recently moved in our Costa Mesa home and the garage floor needed some major love.  The paint that had been previously applied was chipping throughout, revealing a polished maroon concrete underneath.  In calling garage companies in the area, Garage Floors 1 Day stood out. These guys are legit!  From initial contact with Rob, to the actual install by Justin and Quintin, working with GF1D was a pleasure.  Initially, I was going to pull up the garage floor and install a fresh cement pad, but after having Rob out he assured me they could rehab my 60 year old floor and explained the process in great detail.  I have to admit to a bit of skepticism because there were several deep and wide cracks.  Well, when Justin and Quintin showed up the day of install Justin reassured my concerns and explained, in detail, what he was going to do.  There were no surprises, no mistakes, all work was done professionally and courteously, all at a cost that won't break the budget.  Sure, I had to pay a few hundred dollars more for GF1D to properly correct the defects in the original floor, but I can honestly say it was money well spent.  Hopefully the pictures convey Justin and Quintin's fantastic craftsmanship. My story might be a little different from other yelp reviews...I googled this company a few months back and liked the idea of my garage looking like a showroom in one day! John and Rob's team were clean, efficient, respectful and thorough! I LOVED my garage! Fast forward a few months later. "Hey guys I have a "bubble in my floor, no rush just need you to come take a look" They came out and took a look and unfortunately the person I had purchased the house from did a horrible job floating out garage with a material not meant for a garage floor. (The reason I had chosen to coat with one day was because I was tired of the chalky residue that was tracked into my house by my kids on the daily) long story short this amazing HONEST company came to my house and striped not only the 1st beautiful coating they installed but down to the original subfloor so they could give me the beautiful floor that they promised me the first time around at no extra charge!!! The owners showed up on a Saturday spent their weekend along with 2 other employees scraping, filing, grinding and more, once again laying out the most beautiful floor for me at no extra cost! These guys went above and beyond for me and stood by their work (costing them hundreds of dollars I am sure) Tyler worked on his Sunday (left his family) and didn't leave until he was satisfied (past 7 pm) with how things looked! So the boys called me ahead of time, gave me a heads up on their arrival time. Gave me time to start my morning with a cup of coffee. Justin and Garrett showed up gave me a run down of the process and handled some moving of some stuff I had, that my 83 year old mama couldn't handle(lol). Plus I'm a guy on wheels, so my moving of furniture is a little limited. But they handled it, were kind, but most of all professional and knew their trade. They did an excellent job on the floor. The most seamless process ever!! The crew was super friendly, efficient and did great quality work. From scheduling to picking a color, this was a delightful process. I really appreciated their insight and enthusiasm for a job well done. Our job required the crew to break down a cabinet and clean out a garage with layers of dust. My garage floors came out beautiful.  Tyler and Ryan arrived on time and completed the job the same day.  We just bought the house and decided to get the garage floor done before bringing any of our things.  We were able to allow a full 3 days for it to cure (was told "it would be dry after 24 hours but wait 2 days just to be safe").  Ryan and Tyler also helped me remove 2 wall mounted cabinets and a low shelf from the garage.  After inspecting the floors upon completion I found that certain areas were pokey.  Immediately informed Tyler and he was responsive to fixing the problem.  Offered to come the same day and scrap/shave the pokey areas.  Our schedule didn't permit it but Tyler continued to follow up on when he could swing by. Wish I could give more stars. GF1D did a great job on my floor. We just bought a new house and were working on a short schedule to get the garage floor done before we moved everything in. Submitted a quote request and heard back within minutes and let us know they could accommodate our schedule. I wasn't sure of which color to go with and John made a special trip on a Sunday to open the showroom to me and my family so we could pick the right color. Stop! Do not miss this review. If you are looking for the best epoxy coated garage floor please keep reading.A few weeks ago I went on Craigslist and received 2 bids for epoxy coating my 3 car garage floor, blue with multi-colored paint chips. I gave the job to a guy with TYM Epoxy Floor Coatings (also is a tree trimmer) He quoted me $1650 and could start in a few days. I cleaned out the garage and he agreed to move the washer/dryer/Refrigerator and Metal cabinet (and put them back.) He said the job would take from 9am to 5pm. He arrived at 9am and was finished by noon. He said the floor would last 5 years but for another $350 would seal it with high gloss clear coat which would extend the life another 5 years. When finished, the floor was not gloss and saw the 1 gallon can and it said Kwik Crete Matte finish. He used 1 gallon for a 3 car garage. Usually takes 3-6 gallons, but at this point I had no idea not to think he knew what he was doing. 4 days later I sed a leaf blower to blow the dirt out so I could bring in my car. Thousands of paint chips were blown into driveway. Sealed? No! I called Rob at Garage Floors 1 day as he was referred by my friend a high level interior/exterior designer. Rob said if floor is sealed the floor would need to be ground up and started over. He asked if TYM had grinded the floor and I said no acid washed. He said that is a problem. Rob said for him to have done it right would have only been $1800. I called TYM and he wanted to come out and take a look, I said if you don't know what you're doing, why would I let you continue to damage my floor? The texts got very ugly after that. I tried to take him to small claims but he hides his name/address/etc. and when I paid for reverse phone lookup no agency has any info on him.I called Rob and he agreed to come look at the floor. He did, he said what a bad job. He said he could probably make it right for $650 so we agreed. When I removed the car from the garage the rear tires removed the epoxy and paint chips down tho the concrete. I repaired as best I could. Rob came yesterday and could not have been nicer and more professional. The floor has a beautiful shiny gloss coat that looks the way it should have the first time. Rob and Garage Floors 1 Day are the ONLY ones any homeowner should consider as you will not make the mistake I did and will be very pleased with the outcome. I cannot recommend Rob enough, great guy, great professional, great results, great job!He has a lot of jobs as he is the best, take my advice, he is worth waiting for! More...

I called GF1D on a Wednesday at 3pm just to get a quote. By 8pm the very next day, I had a new garage floor which I want to sleep on. It's so beautiful, I don't even want to park my cars in the garage anymore. We went with Morning Fog and it looks great. Tyler and Garrett were professional and cared about doing the job right. They got here at 815am and left at 8pm. My garage had a lot of what I called calcification. There is a technical word and I don't know how to pronounce it let alone spell it. I thought this would doom me from ever having nice floors. I was wrong. GF1D was able to fix most of the problem. I have one little area that couldn't be covered, but lucky for me, it's in a place not easily visible. I asked the guys with floors so beautiful, why don't more people have epoxied floors. He said most people don't know how good they look or how cheap it is. This is not an expensive project and it really makes the garage pop. I would recommend this company to anyone I know. More...

I could not be happier with the work done by GF1D! From the initial quote (which was extremely reasonable) to the delivered product, every point of contact was a positive experience. On the epoxy date I happened to be in New York. Rob talked to me on the phone and walked me through the process. The guys worked hard and then their grinder broke. Rather than delay the job, they went out and bought a new grinder and still finished on time.  They never cut any corners and even went the extra mile to fill in some cracks in the concrete for me. They spent a good five or six hours grinding the cement even before they installed the product. They were there a good 10 hours in the heat and sharing the progress with me along the way. I would highly recommend using them and have them install another floor in our other home just up the street. If I could give them another star I would. Garage Floors 1 Day did a new Epoxy job for us this week and we couldn't be happier. The process from quote to completion was seamless. Rob was great about answering many small questions before the job and always got back to me within an hour or less. When the team showed up for the job they were on time, professional and clearly very experienced. The  garage was taped down so that that there was nothing to clean up with the guys left. Before leaving they were meticulous with clean up and even went out of their way to help us tape down the outside of the garage since we left to doors propped open over night. So pleased with our experience! I was contacted by John and he informed me on the process. He was straight forward and very helpful with everything. The day of the install, Tyler and Ryan came out to my house, worked without me there and I had no problems with them. They informed me on any suggestions and recommendations they had. They did a great job, I can tell they took high pride in their work. They left my garage feeling like a new building. I'm very impressed on what a great job they did and how it turned out. I really liked having them done in one day without using acids or other chemicals around my kids. I had a few major cracks in the garage and they made them hide. WOW - AMAZING JOB!  These guys offer A+ top quality work and customer service and I'm glad I chose them.  When there are multiple vendors to choose from on Yelp, how do you decide which one to go with besides looking for positive reviews on Yelp that for all you know could have been written by a family member or paid reviewer?  You find out for yourself of course!  Requesting a quote was the easiest way for me to weed out who's probably going to offer me great service and who I might regret hiring. There's nothing for me to lose so after sending out quote requests to multiple vendors, only a handful responded with a quote but only 1 answered my questions thoroughly without omitting any question asked or making me feel pressured to commit.  I understand some vendors are busy or don't enjoy responding back with quotes because they need to "see" the project before giving you a cost but GF1D appears to have consistently set prices so that made it very easy for me to budget my expenses without taking time out of my day just to meet the vendor in order to get a cost before I can make a decision.  The responses I received to all my questions were answered in a professional manner that no longer seem to exist with other contractors who prefer to reply with the usual yeah, no, maybe.  One the day of my appointment Tyler and Garrett arrived earlier than scheduled which is a huge PLUS in my book.    They laid out all their tools in an orderly fashion, explained to me the work and processes that were to be performed, an estimated completion timeframe, then they started working right away after I gave them the thumbs up.  This is a family owned business so they take pride in their craft and don't skimp any corners as I watched them meticulously hand brush the tight corners and hard to reach areas making sure everything was perfect whilst keeping their entire work area very very clean.  Did I mention they were clean?  I had no problem leaving the guys to work in my garage while I headed off to work and Tyler would send me text and photo updates periodically throughout the day which I truly appreciate.  By the time they were done everything looked amazing (night and day difference) and I was truly impressed with their workmanship in addition to their level of customer service.
