Gaits of Hope is like a hidden gem that our family found out about by accident. Our whole family has had the blessing of sessions with Debbie and her empathetically gifted therapy horses. Prior to coming here I had no experience with equine therapy and had no idea of what to expect. After my first session I found myself profoundly impacted with identifying previously unknown unhealthy behaviors and was able to make several self discoveries that immediately helped give me a direction to further my road to healing. Even my 7 year old son said he loved it.I became a widow at a young age after 10 years of marriage and two children. Several years have passed and I am now remarried and our blended family is doing everything possible to heal together and start life healthy and anew with one another. This transition is not easy but we have noticed a profound difference after only a few sessions. Its hard to explain what this therapy is without experiencing it, but after over a decade of counselors and psychiatrists, I found the first session alone led me to more self discoveries than a year of talk therapy. Afterall, "Knowing is half the battle." I would highly recommend Gaits of Hope's horse therapy. A single session's results alone may profoundly surprise you as well. Thank you Debbie...and thank you for your truly "magical" horses. More...

Debbie has been a wonderful person to experience equine therapy with. She has been professional and has had some insights that have been very illuminitave to me. I haven't "clicked" well with most therapist' I've seen. She qenuinely cares about people and works hard. The farm is very well maintained and is welcoming. I highly recommend Mrs Debbie! More...

I haven’t personally utilized the services of Gaits of Hope Ranch but I have met and talked to the owners and from my first conversation with them, I could hear the passion in their voice of truly wanting to make a difference in the lives of hurting children. When you have a passion for a cause and it’s in your heart to serve, it makes all the difference and I could see and hear it with the Sturgill’s. May God open all doors that need to be opened for you so that your vision and dreams will come to pass. More...
