About

Hi there!
I'm new on this platform, but I've been working on photography for more than 20 years. I mainly do portraits in all my projects. I like working with people, especially during those important events in their lives when my goal y to create the best visual memory for them.

Q&As

In the case of portrait photography, I think that part of the secret lies in making the people to be photographed (if they are not professional models) feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident. Only in this way will the photographer be able to do his part of the work, which involves making a good composition from the elements in the frame of his camera and from the body language, gestures, and emotions of the photographed. That happens every time on every shot that lasts a fraction of a second. I personally take between 30 and 300 shots in each portrait session. Sometimes I do more than that and sometimes less. It all depends on how the session flows. That is why the last photos are usually better than the first ones, due to the nature of the process. For me, the most productive moment of a portrait session is when the subject is already warmed up and the photographer has already been able to identify which are the best angles and which precise expressions work best for the photo session.

What are the photos going to be used for?
Is it something you want to avoid being shown in the picture?
Do you want something formal, or informal with candid snaps? A mix?
Do you prefer the photoshoot outdoors, indoors, or something with studio lighting?

I like connecting with people. Understanding the way they want to be photographed and helping them to feel secure and happy with the results.

I have been a photographer for more than 20 years. It´s what I do best. I am also a documentary photographer and photojournalist. Working in my business, I can choose what I want to photograph, whenever I want to do it. This way I also earn income and have time to work on other photography projects.

I think is a good idea to work with long-experienced professionals.

I have three shots on my Covid-19 Vaccination card. I also try to avoid touching people or talking to them too close. I prefer to wear a mask indoors when the space is short and people are too close to each other. I also use sanitizer every chance I have.
