I have only attended Blue Heron for a handful of the toy fairs that they were having for a while on the first Sunday of every month but I can tell you that my boys and I enjoyed every moment. Because the event started early enough, we were able to swing by before church and pick up some cheap action figures and Transformers and my sons walked out happy. Good times. More...

Our daughter's 16th birthday party was amazing! Denise made some great suggestions for food, which turned out to be a huge hit - taco bar, s'mores bar, and cupcakes. All of the food was delicious! They were so accommodating, and made the planning so easy for us. They had everything we needed! I would definitely recommend Blue Heron to anyone in the area. Blue Heron Events catered our wedding at DuCar Farm and I can’t say enough good things about them. We had a free tasting to try out their BBQ menu and had the best time. Denise was so helpful and even let us try more dishes than we had requested. Their professionalism is exceptional and the food is amazing. As we got closer to the wedding day, I emailed Courtney many times with different changes to the menu or rentals, and she was very quick to respond, quick to update the invoice, and helpful with all my questions. On the day of, they served our food and it was better than I remembered. People are still asking me to get the potato salad recipe for them!! I can’t recommend them-and their BBQ menu-enough. Like comics How about action figures I like both and I found them at this event. There were many local dealers selling comics, action figures and related items. My best friend chose this venue as the place to host my baby shower. It was perfect! The food was made from scratch, and delicious! Denise, the owner, was very accommodating and so sweet. I'm getting ready to place a cupcake order for my son's birthday party, they were that good! I can't wait to either host an event here, or attend another event here, just to eat the food again!
