My rescue dog is always leery of strangers at first although when I called after dropping her off the previous day to check on her, the handler said she was warming up and doing really good! I was so relived- especially that I could call and check up on her and the staff really seemed attentive to her demeanor. When I picked my dog up, she didn’t wanna leave! The staff was so friendly in helping wipe her paws before I took her and they said she did a great job there. The staff also really seemed like they spent a good amount of time with Piper, as they knew some hallmarks about her personality- such as her being such a smart pup! At first glance, the outside play area for the pups looks a little crowded and one would think the staff to dog ratio wouldn’t be very good but it is! I know my Piper was well taken care of and had fun and that’s worth any price! But the price was super reasonable and I also want to commend Friendly Paws on their customer service- every time I’ve called there, there’s always been a real person that answers, Brenda, and she was great at remembering who I was and who my dog belonged to. Piper stays again next week while I’m on vacation and I know she is looking forward to her next visit at Friendly Paws Pet Resort! More...

Prior to dropping Dexter off, we called to assure they could accommodate Dexter”s health situations. They immediately responded that they would be able to take care of him. They sent us updates along with photos of him enjoying his Thanksgiving meal. When I called to check in on him, my call was returned in a short amount of time and they provided me with a detail report of his activities. This was very helpful for us. My dog always enjoys her time at Friendly Paws. All the staff with which I have had contact know my dog and speak well about her. My dog has had day care as well as boarding experience and has always come home exhausted from all the play as well as having lost weight due to her positive interactions. Courtney's staff is excellent in searching medical records to see when certain pertinant vaccinations or applicable medicines are due. Friendly Paws an excellent option for your boarding/daycare needs if you live in the Robinson/Moon area. The owner is an amazing woman, who goes out of her way to help families and their pets. I moved to the area a couple years ago with 3 pets and a newborn. I was out of town and the owner drove to my house to pick up the animals due to my infant not cooperating that day. Who does that The staff is a direct reflection of the owner, and they are all super friendly, open the gate upon arrival if you need help, and always greet the animals as if they were their own. The dogs are able to play outside, be cared for by great people, and I have never had an issue after dozens of overnight stays. It’s always with mixed feelings when I have to leave my dog: I miss him so much but also know he has a blast at Friendly Paws and I also know that Courtnay and staff take excellent care of him. He gets to play outside with his friends during the day so then he’s ready to sleep all night. They observe if he’s too hot, cold or tired (or too zoomie) and place him in the needed environment. The owner and staff are very professional. The kennel requires dogs and cats to have shots up to date . They provide a great play area for the dogs and separate large and small dogs. My dog has been going to Friendly Paws since he was 6 months old ( now almost 3) and is well taken care of and happy while he's there. Best place in the Pittsburgh area! We live within 2 miles of two doggy daycare and boarding places but will go out of our way to bring our pup to Friendly Paws! We rescued a dog a couple of weeks before we were going on vacation and I took her to an intake appointment at the place where I had boarded our last two dogs for years. They wouldn't take her because she growled at another dog. Out of desperation, I contacted Friendly Paws and they took her last minute. She was absolutely fine there with the other dogs and we now go a couple of times a week for day camp. The staff is AMAZING! She loves them and they treat her like family. There have been several times that I wanted to actually THANK the "other" boarding place for turning her away. Good riddance to the unfriendly and dismissive staff there! Super friendly staff- my dogs love them. I know that they will be looked after even though they get very busy. We've had some bad experiences with other doggie daycares and nothing has ever gone wrong here. My only negative comment is they recently raised their prices for daycare in August so we can't take them as much now.***UPDATE- I originally wrote that they raised their prices and I couldn't take my dogs as much BUT let me tell you, these guys are worth every penny! And they are comparable to any other dog daycare that you will find in the area, price-wise.First of all - my dogs are psycho and don't like anyone but they LOVE the staff at friendly paws and the employees there have been so great with my two crazy dogs. And they really went above and beyond when I was having my baby and I didn't know when I would go into labor and need to board the dogs.
