Having our wedding captured through a video was one of the most important priorities for us. We reviewed several (a LOT of) vendors but as soon as we saw Brian's work, we were set--it was the easiest decision we made during our wedding planning process and Brian did not prove us wrong. **Before the wedding** Brian was very responsive to all our questions and requests. Because we cared so much, we were quite specific on what we wanted, and Brian was always professional, patient and honest with his recommendations. Brian also had questionnaires for us to fill in order for him to get a sense of what we liked in a video--it was helpful in guiding us to finalize our vision and showed how attentive and flexible he was to what wanted as opposed to applying a one size fit all template to all videos.**Day of** Brian and his assistant arrived on time and immediately started filming. They were both very professional and stayed on schedule with our timeline which we really appreciated! We (my husband and I, our bridal party, our families) did not always know what to do. It was a lot of people to manage but Brian was great at giving directions and making us all feel comfortable. It ended up being really fun, and he was able to make us feel carefree during what could have been a stressful day. **Wedding video** WE LOVE IT SO MUCH! We cannot express this enough. The choice of music, the drone shots, how Brian captured the sunset, how he tied the shots to the words being said in the video and to the music rhythm--it was so thoughtful. Our wedding was in French and English and we were wowed by how Brian mixed both languages in the video. We probably watched it a dozen times now, but Brian did such a good job capturing all the feels, love, and atmosphere of our big day. We couldn't have asked for a better cinematographer. The team at Fresh Wedding Cinematography was so easy to work with and got our vision from the first meeting. The communication was easy, all emails and questions were answered in a timely manner. They captured our wedding in the exact way we have envisioned. Nothing was missed and the video is so special and so perfect. I could not have asked for a better video to capture our day. Brian was a joy to work with. He made the entire process very easy and straight forward. I appreciated that he wanted to have a phone call/meeting before agreeing to anything to ensure we were a good match. He was also very detailed and responsive which is sometimes hard to find. Another concern of mine was that I didn't want the videographer to be in the way of guests or make their experience unpleasant. Most of guests didn't even notice that they were there. Brian at Fresh Wedding Cinematography simply blew our minds with our wedding video. His work turned out AMAZINGLY, his initial phone calls with us ensured that we were a personality match (he's super chill but extremely good at what he does in a fun and unobtrusive way), and his organizational skills and communication with us throughout made me very comfortable as a bride with so many moving pieces. I knew I never had to worry about Brian. On our wedding day, I barely even knew he was there because he was so adept at working AROUND us and our loved ones. He was sweet and personable and sensitive to our needs on the day of and our family's privacy. He was so very sweet working with our photographer and other vendors as well...he just got along organically with everyone.Now let me get to the finished product. The wedding video. When I say that I cry often in movies, it's not an understatement. But the raw feelings that I got watching our wedding video that Brian recorded and edited made both my husband and I well up with tears like I was walking down the aisle again. He can capture emotion and almost feel what his customers are feeling and express it in a package that will last forever. The music that he picked matched my emotions so well, I was almost alarmed! The edits and drone footage were both incredibly touching and also hilarious, when appropriate. All in all, Brian captured the FEELINGS of our day more than anyone else could. Of course the footage is beautiful, but I didn't think the feeling I got could ever be replicated from my wedding day. I was mistaken once I saw his video.I couldn't give a higher recommendation than to use Brian and Fresh Wedding Cinematography for your wedding. The rates are extremely reasonable for the end product, and I feel like I got a forever wedding that I can keep returning to over and over again. Even our friends and family can't get enough of it! My husband was initially reluctant to have a "stranger" capture our wedding day via video, but he admitted he couldn't have been more wrong after seeing this video. I just want to start off by saying thank you so much to Brian and his team for their wonderful services throughout our entire wedding process. From the beggining Brian has been amazing, he is by far the most professional and detailed vendor that we worked with. From our initial consult to after the wedding, Brian was extremely proactive in his communication and ensured that we would be well prepared for our magical day. Our wedding was a bit complex as we had ceremonies/key events that spaned different locations, but he was flexible and worked with us to ensure we captured all these important moments. The day of our wedding, Brian and his team arrived with a positive comforting aura that helped our wedding party be themselves while being filmed to capture genuine candid videos. Brian also guided us throughout the entire day of wedding and came up with creative ideas that translated to some amazing shots! Being a typical groom, I would be been so lost without their guidance. After the wedding, my wife and I had such high expectations for our wedding video and it’s safe to say that Brian exceeded those expectations. His post-editing skills and creativity just show you that he is an artist. I loved the tone and spirit of the video and well as the music soundtrack that matched supurbly. The video was beautifally balanced with comedic tidbits that made for some great laughs. Brian is a very skilled videographer and very easy to feel comfortable with. He was very prompt and easy to get ahold of throughout the whole process of planning our wedding and also had some great recommendations that helped us to personalize our video even though our ceremony had no self written vows. I would definitely choose him again for his skill, level of finish and general vibe on the wedding day. He keeps things very calm and fun, which is a good balance to all the chaos that seems to go on that day. My one piece of advice to brides/grooms would be to make sure when you are filling out the questionnaire about the wedding beforehand, that you keep in mind that what you list as most important will be what he puts the most footage of in your highlight video. If I would have known that beforehand, it may have shifted my answers a bit because I was thinking more abstractly in terms of sentimental importance and not the importance of what I wanted to see most in the video. Brian was an amazing videographer for our August wedding in wine country! He's one of our favorite vendors and if we could give him more than five stars, we would! He was great at getting updates about our timeline and even met up with us the day before our wedding to check out our venue. Aside from the stunning 15 minute full length video, Brian also made us a same-day edit (projector and screen included) to show our guests that night which was a major hit!! Throughout the whole day, Brian and his team never rushed us through the process and let us enjoy the moment. He was able to slow things down for us so we could soak in the experience. Planing and Indian wedding is stressful, But Brian Made one thing easy for me (Cinematography). He put in so much time and work into my wedding (2 FULL DAYS EVENT) showing up early, Capturing all the meaningful moments, Getting amazing shots with his Drone. Hands down, Brian and his crew were the best decision and money we spent for our wedding day! I wasn't sure if I wanted a wedding video at all at first, but after my dad insisted we would regret it when we were older we decided to hire Brian. He was always professional and worked so well with our photographer. Between the two of them, they kept our wedding running like clockwork. There were so many other mishaps and things that didn't go as planned and vendor mistakes, but they kept everything together and moving smoothly. Brian dedicated so much time and went above and beyond to accommodate our multiple day wedding, I really could not have asked more of him. The best part is the video he made!! Our whole family was blown away with the quality, editing style, and production of the video and all the features we added!! It came out better than we could have imaged and captured everything beautiful from that weekend. I still watch this video with a HUGE smile on my face and remember what a amazing weekend it really was! He was accommodating when it came time to set up times to meet & working with our budget. When I first started looking for a videographer I came across Fresh and was completely captivated by the videos he had on his site. He did not fail to do the same when he delivered ours. Brian did a professional video of my self and my salon Wax A Peel and truly showed my passion for what I do in the making. I spent thousands of dollars on a previous video not getting nearly as much positive response nor quality. Brian made what can be a nervous situation of being on the camera feel calm and relaxed. I’m passionate about people and storytelling. I love the unique, out of the ordinary and dramatic elements of couples, individuals and life itself. When you choose me as your videographer I take time to get to know you, your business or event. I listen to your wants and needs and together help form a creative approach to every project. What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up in Southern California and studied business management and marketing at Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City, South Dakota. I have over ten years of real world experience in graphic design, web design, videography and photography. I have also been a music promoter and disc jockey since 1999 producing and documenting several of my own events, from Zombie Walk's to political rallies. I now live in Fairfield, CA and look forward to serving both the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area. I have been shooting and editing photos & video since 2009. I started filming weddings in 2012.
