I love the food here! Frank is really a talented chef and everything I've eaten has always been fresh and delicious. It's fun to eat inside Frantonios because the ambiance makes you feel like you're in Italy. I specifically recommend trying the eggplant sandwich or any sandwich, the minestrone soup that's made fresh daily, cannolis (although I dont eat cheese anymore, I loved them when I ate cheese), the cookies, and all the chicken dishes (especially the lemon one). I love this Italian deli.  When I was recovering from surgery, the owner delivered meals to my house.  I love their Chicken Parmesan with their wonderful marinara sauce.  So, so good.  Their salads are always very fresh and tasty.  I always get their side salads which are a perfect size for one.  Their spaghetti with marinara sauce is the best!!  They have an extensive menu, something for everyone.  I highly recommend this restaurant!  Easy in and out on Route 14, very close to The Garlands and The Barrington Area Library. My wife and I just got done eating here for our first time. We shared an arancini and a meatballs sandwich. A cup of sauce came with the arancini and the bread for the sandwich was perfect. Been coming here since 2012 when I worked in Barrington. I live in Crystal Lake and will gladly drive out just for Frantonio’s. Fresh, quality and GENUINE Italian food. Lots of variety, something for everyone. The sandwiches are all delicious but my favorite is the fresh mozzarella sandwich- “The Delicioso”! Definitely give it a try. Went to Frantonio's after seeing it on Chicago's Best.  We love trying new places, and this one was in our backyard.  We stopped in for lunch and were offered a sample of a sandwich and pizza.  I tried a sample of the sandwich and normally share the sample with my husband.  This time, I ate the entire sample which was quite large for a sample.  I order the sample sandwich.  It was much bigger than I expected.  I brought most of the sandwich home.
