This is the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. I went in after work last night after applying online and stated that I would like to sign my recent 6 month old puppy up for doggy daycare while I’m at work in the next plaza over. I first made the mistake of going in the back door where I discovered the filthy environment where the dogs play during the day (with pee and poop all over the floor and a terrible odor). When I was redirected to the front desk, I spoke with Tiffany an employee who explained they only do evaluations mon-fri. I stated that I just started a new job so I would be unable to get time off during the week, her response was too bad idk what to tell you. Frustrated, I asked the owners name and phone number. This morning I reached out to Jen requesting she make an exception for me to come in on a weekend day. After denying my request, I still continued to give them the benefit of the doubt and requested a half day at work so I could leave my puppy there for a couple hours to try it out. I willingly signed paperwork and made an apt for friday morning at 10 am for the eval. Out of consideration I then sent over his Vet Records. I got a text from the owner stating that because my SIX month old puppy is not neutered he is not allowed in the facility. I wasnt even prompted to send the vet records I did it willingly. My puppy is 4 days over 6 months. I responded to her asking for her to make an exception so at least he could get it for tomorrow and then I could try to get him neutered asap. Along with the unprofessionalism and condescending attitude throughout each and every phone call, she was the least bit considerate. I have now put in time off for tomorrow and have no plans to get my dog evaluated because of her unwillingness to work with me. Short version: Four Leggers is the simply best place around for dogs. If you try them, you will never want to go anywhere else. Long version:Training - Jen and her staff are amazing. They teach via positive reinforcement, which has worked wonders for my little rescue, Hazel. She is adjusting very well, and it is entirely thanks to Four Leggers. I am a very nervous dog mom, and Jen and her other trainers, Scott and Isabella are calm, talented and helpful in every way. When I got Hazel she could hardly sit on command and was not housebroken, and in just 8 weeks of working with Four Leggers, she sits, stays, comes, heels, spins, touches, goes to her crate, goes to her mat, gives a paw, and is housebroken. I am kinda a mess of a dog trainer, so this is 100% thanks to Four Leggers training me on how to train her. We would not be where we are now without them.Daycare - Hazel LOVES her daycare days at Four Leggers. She comes back exhausted (and even smelling nice, how do they do that ) She went from hating the car when we first got her to now loving the car and I think it's because she now associates car trips with her play days at Four Leggers.Kindness - Yesterday it snowed and I forgot to bring Hazel's coat, and when she was being brought back from the play area, a young man on the staff carried her, tucked into his own coat to keep her warm on the walk to the shop. It was the kindest act and it reminded me how wonderful the group who work at Four Leggers are, and how they truly care about the dogs like they are their own.If you have to leave your dog somewhere for the day, and you want to feel like they are safer and happier than they would be at home, this is the place. I did a great deal of research on dog daycares in the area and the informative website, combined with so many glowing reviews, is what made me call Four Leggers to set up an evaluation for my labrador puppy two weeks ago. They have an awesome and easy to find location with plenty of parking. When we arrived for the evaluation I met Jenn, the owner, and a few different employees. Everyone was friendly and I was really struck by the fact that while I filled out paperwork, every single dog (and owner) that came in was recognized and greeted by name. When I picked up my pup a few hours later they gave me detailed feedback on how his day went. He's been twice more (half days) and again, each time I pick him up the staff gives me a little update on how he did, which dogs he played with, etc. I feel very comfortable leaving him there and know he's getting great, attentive care! This morning (only his 3rd time there) as soon as he looked out the car window and saw where we were, he started wiggling around and was pulling me to the door - he wanted in! What I love about Four Leggers is their ability to adapt. My dog started off in daycare but got bored after a few months. Four Leggers suggested she take part in the Play Group option which is better for high energy dogs, like mine . She loved it for a few more months but then her anxiety started getting worse so Four Leggers suggested she do solo walks, try some medication through our vet, followed by their famous Play-and-Train program. The medication from our vet definitely helped our dog calm down and be less triggered and now that she's spent sometime on that, we hope that Four Leggers will be able to reinforce good behaviors through Play and Train. They work WITH dogs and their owners to find a solution that is right for everyone! We are super happy with all the input and suggestions that Four Leggers has provided and their infinite patience. We also board our dog with Four Leggers and can't imagine boarding here anywhere else! I look forward to our dog being able to rejoin the Play Group once she's stopped her teenage rebellious phase! Love Four Leggers Doggie Daycare! Murphy is so excited to get picked up in the morning he waits staring out the window and for Andy every morning ( doesn’t go every day, but every morning he waits). He cries with excitement until Andy comes to the door and pulls him all the way down the Stairs. All of the staff is amazing and they are always there if you need to board your dog or get a bath. This is a wonderful daycare with an excellent staff. They know each and every dog by name, and pay special attention to each. They use positive reinforcement in the daycare, and really emphasize on it (so much so that I guess one employee had been terminated due to too much yelling! Which I love!).
