Enjoyed the outdoor dining with fantastic weather, our table had sunny seats and shady seats so everyone was happy. The food was excellent and the service friendly. We had a group and got there early so seating was a breeze, but by the time we were finishing it was getting pretty crowded and seats were at a premium. It was Friday night and there was live music outside, a guy with a guitar and singing a mellow rock selection. Music was not overpowering and added a festive touch to our get together. Service was not fast but not horribly slow either, and well worth the wait. I had the blackened tuna and it was delicious. A couple folks got the cheese burger, it was draped in a blanket of cheese and huge, if you are a cheese burger fan you will be in heaven. Highly recommend. More...

The people at Floyd's are FANTASTIC to work with plus fantastic food. Hosted my niece's bridesmaids brunch there - all the girls thoroughly enjoyed everything. Honored to be the first event in the newly renovated facility after Florence did her damage. If you agree looking for a venue to hold a special occasion Floyd's is THE place! Floyd's 1921 was the caterer for our wedding weekend. We had our rehearsal dinner hosted on their patio to kick off our wedding festivities.
Chef Floyd and his team did the most amazing job preparing the food for our rehearsal - it was SO delicious! The patio was a beautiful place to host the dinner. The waitstaff were so friendly and accommodating. Robin on their team is so sweet and she coordinated the florals that turned out beautiful.She also helped with alot of the event coordinating with Shana and she did an excellent job with responsive communication!
They also were our caterer for our wedding. We had delicious passed appetizers and margaritas for our Cinco de Mayo wedding day. Our plated dinner was delicious, I wish I had some now! The Shrimp and Grits with tasso ham gravy is to die for and the Ham with Bourbon Honey sauce was so delicious. They were also our bar tender and they did a great job making sure everyone had drinks the entire night! I want to mention how professional their staff was. There was alot of behind the scenes going on with curveballs from my wedding venue. The Floyd's staff did the best they could to roll with the last minute punches thrown at them. I can't thank them enough for getting through this problem and not letting it get in the way during the wedding moment.
Lastly, we had our final wedding event as a Sunday Brunch held at Floyd's. They were so accommodating to our time frame and our guests. Our guests LOVED the food and we got compliments from many people saying it was one of the best brunch meals they ever had.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Shana Olmstead. Shana went above and beyond for my husband and I during the entire planning. We live in Texas ( I am from Morehead City) and I always knew I wanted my wedding food to be from Floyd's. It did not take my husband much convincing after he met Shana and Chef Floyd. Shana's expertise and professionalism was so helpful during the entire process. They even let us do our meal planning and tasting 18 months before our wedding day, to accommodate our schedules. Chef Floyd & Shana are so creative and worked with us to create the perfect menu for the entire weekend. Floyd's 1921 will always have a special place in our hearts and we will make a point each time we are in the area to go visit them for a good meal! Thank you all so much for your help and hard work for us!!! All of the staff was amazing but big shoutouts again to Chef Chris, Robin, Sandy, and Karren for all of their help!!!!
