Fitness 621 has made the journey much easier for me. I like the fact that I can see my progress externally and also know what it means. The InBody analysis is a game changer. I'm very pleased with my progress here at Fitness 621. I previously had a trainer for 3 years and was told my progress wouldn't get better. I have been trained by a few but by FAR the training I've received from Lamare Fuller is second to none. After seeing how he trains and how other trainers train, no question he is a TOP Notch trainer. I highly recommend at least checking him and his gym out. Both are top notch. It hasn't been peaches and cream but I am REALLY satisfied with my results. John St Luce has been my personal trainer from January through August, and in that short amount of time I've achieved some pretty significant results. I’ve always been pretty fit and active, but after some health issues and being placed on medications that caused significant weight gain, I was discouraged that I may never get back to where I was despite all of my efforts working out on my own. I don’t know what his secret is, but he just knows what to do and when for the best outcome. I ended up losing all of the fat I gained, increased muscle and definition, and looked even better than I did before the health issues (despite still being on medication that slows down my metabolism). If you are recovering from an injury, he is the most creative trainer I ever worked with. If you communicate with him about physical limitations, he is compassionate, listens and works around it. Other trainers I’ve had tended to throw things out there to see what sticks (after hurting or re-injuring the site in question). Right now I’m recovering from an incident involving two broken ribs. I asked if I could start training with him, and he actually turned me down and told me to take more time to recover completely. To me that says a lot. I had the opportunity to visit the new location, Fitness 621. This facility is AMAZING! It is so clean, all of the equipment is brand new, and the staff and environment are so positive and encouraging. The best of the best are here! Be prepared to work hard! They will not baby or bully you, but they will motivate you to achieve your goals based on your individual needs. I began working out with John at the end of February 2019. Since then, I have lost almost 50 pounds. I was very skeptical with the thought of working with a personal trainer but knew I needed that “push” to change my previous habits/experience with working out and the yo-yo dieting. John has managed to challenge me in ways that I never thought I can handle while maintaining a calm but encouraging manner. There is no yelling or shouting with John which is a definite plus (since everyone does not work well with that type of training) but he makes it clear when he wants you to step it up or keep going despite your feeling of not being able to do anymore. John is attentive to my “limitations” and has never made me feel as if I was “slacking”. He is constantly asking – “You good?” if he sees me struggling outside of the normal challenge that I should be experiencing. I met Lamare the day my doctor told me my cholesterol was very high and told me I could address this with better nutrition and fitness. Lamare put me on a nutrition plan and I worked with him 3 days a week and 2 on my own. I followed his plan and advice religiously and in 4 months I lost 45lbs and built a lot of muscle and definition. I could not have done this without Lamare. His training style is fantastic, focus on form, build the core first; but his faith, attitude and drive made all the difference. It had been 3 years since my meniscus repair surgery and my knee was very weak. I couldn't depend on it to support my weight when climbing stairs, standing up from sitting, or sitting down. I knew I needed to strengthen it and after talking to John, he convinced me to try out his program. It only took 3 months! He started by learning what I was already able to do then tailored my program to achieve what he knew I could do, by strengthening the muscles supporting the knee.
