I recently started seeing Kylee Pahomey, a Nutritionist at Fit Nutrition Canada (Tecumseh location). Kylee was great! I went into the free consultation with lots of questions and I left feeling confident that I had made a great choice signing up with her. Not only was she friendly but, she made me feel comfortable while we were discussing my habits and goals. I could tell Kylee was passionate & knowledgable about nutrition too -- when I asked questions about foods, I saw her light up as she was explaining things to me. When I signed up for my year-long plan, she told me it included 24/7 support and she meant it. She checks in with me to see how I'm liking the foods she put on this week's meal plan, offering tips to modify the meals if I don't love them, and she's also been very helpful when I'm out and don't know what to choose. All in all, I've had a great experience with Fit Nutrition Canada and couldn't recommend Kylee enough. Go meet with her and you'll see what I mean. More...

Karly is amazing. My time with Fit Nutrition Canada was based on me weaning off of birth control and maintaining a hormone balance. Karly was incredibly supportive in my decision and gave me the best tools and guide in living a better life. Karly always said that our gut is a direct reflection of our overall health and after getting off of birth control I needed to make sure my body was getting the proper nutrients to make my inside feel as good as my outside! I'm two months now post birth control and my skin has been amazing and my overall mental health has been amazing. it's allowed me to have a life where eating better and wanting to take care of myself isn't a chore or something I hate doing, you get to eat what you love, explore different recipes and foods while being healthy. I have nothing but positive things to say about Bridget; shes been able to help my fiance and me, as well as our 14 year old. Brianna is my coach and she is so amazing! She is so encouraging and always there when I need her most! Which has been a few times during the first two weeks! I love the Metabolic Balance program. This was exactly what I have been looking for and NEEDING. A nutrition plan JUST FOR ME! I had no problems working out but I just never seemed to be able to lose weight. I lost more weight in a month than I could by myself in a year. I am so happy that I see results every week, pounds or inches or fat/muscle %, that keeps me really motivated. The plan, for me, has been the easiest one I've found to follow. Nothing is easy, but this is definitely worth it! I am very happy with my results. Fit Nutrition Canada helped save my life! Back in September 2018, I was having angiogram done to investigate what was going on with my heart. The cardiologist told me that I actually needed a bypass however due to my age and weight I was in an extremely high risk and may not make even the procedure or possibly the recovery. With that said he attempted angioplasty and was successful. After that procedure I started searching ways to help myself lose weight and change my lifestyle... I attended doctor appointments, nutrition appointments and read books recommended to me with diets that would help me...however, I continued to gain weight....I eventually lost 10 pounds between September 2018 and the end of March 2019. My daughter was seeing Bridget and highly recommend her so I had a consult with her. She recommended the a Metabolic Balance Diet which I was presently on. I lost approximately 35 pounds between March 27, 2019 and June 21, 2019. You see on that day in June I had to call 911, my heart was beating out of control. I had to be paddled in Emergency which showed I had a mild heart attack which landed me in hospital and off to see my cardiologist again for yet another angiogram to investigate again what was happening to me. I definitely had to have this bypass this time... I had scar tissue in my main artery...97% blocked...no stent would help me. Surgery was scheduled for Sunday of the long weekend in July...well on Friday, my cardiologist popped into see me on his day off just to see how I was doing...as he arrived I started to “code”...he grabbed my hospital bed and wheeled me into the cath-lab where he inserted a balloon into my groin to take the stress off of my heart...he congratulated me on my weight loss as the procedure he just performed was easy...he couldn’t have done that last September. I am currently recovering from my bypass. I had gained 17-20 pounds while in hospital... I am currently attempting my diet program again and have lost 13 pounds of that weight I had gained...so yes!!! Fit Nutrition Canada(Bridget) guidance with meals and helps were instrumental in me being here today...Alive!!! I still have a lot to lose but I will doit one step at a time. I also would like to encourage anyone who needs to lose weight for life or death situations especially, seek out this help...you won’t be disappointed...you will be equipped for a great lifestyle of healthy eating and living Your family and friends will be so happy that you made that decision...you are important to them if you love them remember to love yourself too!!! On Dec 27, I started a strict metabolic balance diet. I wanted to lose weight and be healthier. I ran 4-5 times a week but couldn’t lose weight. Within a month I was down 14 lbs and felt so much better and the cravings were gone. Then vacation was coming and my three Disney runs. I wanted to enjoy the vacation, eat enough to have energy for my runs but not sabotage what I had lost because by the time I was leaving for vacation I was down 25 lbs. With everything I learned over the previous 8 weeks I did it. I ate the goodies I wanted but didn’t go overboard because I didn’t want it. I enjoyed my vacation and did my Disney runs. The end of February I went and got weighed. I only gained half a lb while away and I was down over 20 inches and 25 lbs 2 months. In March I had to have surgery and was on bed rest for a few weeks. I didn’t want to go backwards so the first couple of weeks I tried to not overeat but didn’t track too much. By the first of April I went back to 90% strict diet to get back on track and I went to get weighed. My weight is exactly the same and I am down 5 more weeks.
