Personal Trainers

Adrian was a great trainer. He tailored each workout to my personal needs, which were to gain weight and rehab myself from a prior injury. He was funny and good-natured too. I see him not only as a trainer but a friend. More...

Adrian is absolutely great, he has the ability to go right to the heart of the problem and emphasize that for each session.
Man,
Adrian is keeping me going at age 77!!!

I have been training with Adrian for 13 years. It started after my rehab for an ACL reconstruction was done. He has adapted his workouts for me as I have aged. I just turned 65 and have had back, shoulder, and knee problems over the years. His routines have gone to the source of my problems and held me together so I can do the things I love to do, like walking two miles to work, riding my bicycle, and working in my garden. Lifting something heavy no longer leads to a painful breakdown a few days later. He can’t make me stop aging, but he has helped it be much less traumatic physically. I weigh now what I did when I got out of college. Someone commented today that I looked skinny. That’s not just Adrian, it’s also eating better, but it all comes together. Adrian is inventive and thoughtful about the workouts he puts together for me. And they are hard. He pushes me far past what I would ever do on my own. More...

Q&As

Diet is the most important aspect of health! What we put in, in terms of food, ultimately becomes us. Most chronic medical conditions are caused by poor food choices and those same conditions can be reversed or managed by making better food choices.

The first and foremost step is an assessment. I interview my clients to learn exercise and dietary habits, then I have them do a series of movements that tell me what needs to be worked on.

Doing this helps me integrate what a client actually needs to focus on in order to perform optimally while also helping them obtain personal wellness goals.

There is no secret! You have to put in the work and time. It's very easy to look at an athlete and say "I want that body," it is another thing to do the same activities that, that athlete did in order to get there. However, if there is an athlete with the body you want the road map has kind of been done for you, do what that athlete does.

The science and variability. Our bodies are resilient and adaptable given the right environment. I enjoy helping others achieve their desired results and adapting to a new lifestyle of health.

I have had several sports related injuries that have kept me from doing the things I enjoy. Learning how to heal my injuries using movement and exercise while integrating nutrition is something I want to share and help others with.

With over 20 years of experience, I have learned to cater to individual needs. Degree and certifications aside, I really care about what I do and love it. I tend to target the root of an issue rather than fuss about with the symptoms.

Yes. I can provide online coaching for both exercise and nutrition.
