Emmett Photo is founded by me, Dan Couillard and was established in 2007. I am a freelance photographer, specializing in Weddings and portraits with over 275 weddings under my belt. I shoot in a photojournalistic and alternative style capturing every moment from getting ready, candid butt grabs, that first kiss as a married couple, I’ll even make sure I snap your ten year old cousin getting way too flirtatious with your bridesmaids on the dance floor.

What do you love most about your job?
Weddings are my jam, I just love capturing love. I've been doing it a long time and still to this day would choose wedding photography over any other type.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started photography in early 2005 after losing my dad and inheriting his Minolta 35mm camera. I developed all my own photos in the darkroom of my high school and began competing in regional and state photography competitions while also being head photographer of my yearbook class. I found photojournalism and portraits to be where my passion laid and really began finding my niche in weddings and began my journey as a wedding photographer in 2007.

I'd hope to be a chosen vendor because the couple legitimately loves my work. I believe in love and I believe in photos being one of the very few things to go on with you after your wedding day and should be an investment.
Wedding Photography
All my photo packages come with the full-resolution images, all fully edited, ready to print. I don't watermark images, there are no print restrictions. The images are all yours, and you can download them directly from a private gallery, which is live for 12 months from your wedding date. The gallery is also linked to a pro print lab - you can order prints directly from the gallery. All my wedding packages also include a FREE engagement session, a wedding schedule building meetup as well as any texts or calls you may need. Sales tax will be applied upon booking.
Engagement Photos
Couples sessions are an hour well spent either enjoying a stroll in a good location or maybe you’re looking for a more lifestyle or steamy session, I offer those as well! You’ll receive a questionnaire before our shoot to get to know you two a little better and ensure we communicate all the details. You can expect 50+ edited images from our session free for you to post and print straight from the online gallery.
Family Photos
Family sessions are an hour spent capturing the love and personalities of you and yours. I lean towards a more photojournalistic and candid way when photographing family. Every family receives a questionnaire before our shoot to get to know you two a little better and ensure we communicate all the details. You can expect 50+ edited images from our session free for you to post and print straight from the online gallery.
