I have only good things to say about DJ Kevin Duran. It was so easy for me to select the songs I wanted for my wedding and he made sure all of my special requests were played. During our preliminary phone call he eased my nerves and made me feel relaxed and at ease - and by the end of our call I truly felt like I had made a friend. He is charming, great taste in music, funny and has a great voice (a little detail some might not consider when making a selection) He did a great job with the announcements, got all names right and really jazzed up the crowd getting even the shyer people up and dancing. Kevin was an incredible DJ. He was timely, responsive, kind and alleviated a lot stress from the planning process by making the music component fun and easy. Kevin also went above and beyond for us. My wife's uncle played piano as we walked down the aisle and Kevin was incredibly helpful coordinating the tech with our videographer to ensure we had all the speakers/microphones etc supplied and set up properly. The day of our wedding we didn't have to worry about a thing! He even sent us our playlist of all the songs he playing at our wedding after we got married. This company was very professional and I would recommend a million times over. The company has tons of reputable DJs. We personally had DJ Dan for our wedding and he was AMAZING. He communicated with us early on and was very easy to get ahold of. He was receptive to all of our requests and he was very flexible as to when our requests and timelines changed day of. He always checked in with us day of to make sure we were ready to move onto the next event and always made sure we were happy. He was super easy to talk to and coordinate with. We had DJ Kevin Duran DJ our wedding and it was the best choice we could have made. As many people said afterwards “he played all bangers and not one dud”. It was 3 straight hours of dancing. Because of Kevin the dance floor was never empty once the entire time. We met with him a couple of times before the wedding and he was able to work with us to understand the vibe of the entire wedding and the group he was working with. He was knowledgeable and able to help us coordinate the events throughout the reception such as toasts and cake cutting. With him we didn’t have to worry about anything when it came to the sound system or music throughout the day. Kevin was so incredibly fantastic to work with! While trying to find a DJ for our wedding, we spoke to several different companies. With many of those companies, it honestly felt over-the-top cheesy in a used car salesman way. This was absolutely not the case with Kevin! Which was really quite a relief - he's super nice, super personable, you can have a good conversation with him. He made the whole process super easy, and was able to get a great read on what types of music we liked and our guests might like just in those pre-wedding phone calls. It's clear Kevin has some great experience and genuinely cares about his clients. He knew just what questions to ask, and really helped us with figuring out anything that we needed help with. When we started planning our August 2023 wedding, we knew that having an amazing DJ was the key to a great reception. A DJ’s vibe/style can really set the tone for the event, and the music and timing is so critical to both the ceremony and the reception. We were looking for someone upbeat and energetic but without the cheesy announcer vibe or desire to make the evening about them (we didn't want a comedy show!). That’s why DJ Kevin was the very first vendor we booked after locking down our date and venue. We met DJ Kevin at a wedding show in Maine and instantly clicked with his friendly personality and welcoming vibe. We interviewed a few other DJs shortly after, but we decided to book DJ Kevin because nobody else impressed us as much as he did. And we are SO glad we made that decision, because he did an outstanding job at our wedding. He kept the evening running so smoothly and perfectly, and the dance party at the reception was so much fun. The entire planning process was easy, Kevin was quick to answer any questions we had, and we felt very comfortable knowing we were working with a pro who has done this a million times. The planner tool was easy to use and allowed us to choose must-play and must-not-play music. Kevin incorporated all our favorite songs and mixed in some other great ones as well. I don’t even know where to begin. DJ Kevin was hands down everything we wanted and more. My husband and I both LOVE dancing (along with our family and friends). We hired DJ Matthew through Double Platinum Celebrations. The company and DJ were amazing. Professional, kind, easy to work with, a great system all around. DJ Matthew was on time, knew the right people to connect with, checked in with us and the wedding party to make sure everyone was on the same page and that the info we discussed was correct, and kept the party going all night. We hired DJ Brandon from Double Platinum Celebrations as one of our first vendors. Immediately he got in touch with us and hopped on a call to discuss details. He answered every single one and gave us all his information and we new right away we wanted him as our DJ. After signing the contract, they set us an AMAZING online planner to create our playlist, fill out our timeline, and plan every detail. Being someone who is very organized this was a dream to me. From start to finish, Brandon was extremely kind, always answered every email I sent promptly, and was so patient with all of my questions. DJ Tom was awesome! We had so many people tell us how much fun they had. I know we weren’t the easiest with the elements and the venue being mountain top. DJ David was absolutely incredible. It was such a pleasure to work with him throughout the entire process. I interviewed about 10 other DJs and David stood out due to his 15 years of experience in the industry, his equipment, and his commitment to make the day perfect. David's planning sheet made it easy to communicate our plans and ideas for the day. We went over the plans once virtually and then again in person a few weeks before the wedding. This was great because it made us feel confident the plan was clear, we really appreciated how much time David spent in the planning phase with us. On the wedding day, David showed up early to scope things out and start unloading equipment. David worked seamlessly with the Inn. Oh I forgot to mention... There was a hurricane! and we lost power! David was prepared with battery powered equipment and was able to use the generator power that the inn provided. David did a fantastic job with the last minute changes, and executed our ceremony sound perfectly. During cocktail hour, David had to scramble to breakdown and set up in the same room in a short amount of time. His DJ set up looked amazing and well equipped. David did an excellent job with the intros- dances- coordinating speeches- working with our videographer etc. Then he absolutely brought down the house with his set, getting everyone out of the dancefloor.
