What do you love most about your job?
Echo Beach Band has loved playing for large and small audiences since 1991 when we debuted at the Foster City Fourth of July celebration (we then played the event for the following four years). We played a seven year residency at Cato's Ale House in Oakland (2005 - 2012). These gigs which became traditions for us were very special but regardless of the setting (festival or club, private party or gala -- whatever), creating a connection with the audience is what we love most. Musically we're adaptable. We've played Nick Drake and Phish tunes for a wedding in Santa Cruz, tropical jazz for art and wine festivals, jazz standards in Bay Area rooms including Cafe Royale and the Park Chalet.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Music is fundamental to our lives and playing for Northern California audiences is very special.
