I have to say, my dog and I totally scored with Kira. She is wonderful. To put things into perspective. I was a dog walker for six years. When my daughter turned 18 I decided to take a long six month vacation. Without my dog. I needed to find a dog walker. The company I worked for did not cover the area that I lived in so I looked elsewhere. And I found her. My dog Timber, who can be a bit of a trouble dog, has been so happy with her and she was able to deal with him with out any problems at all. She sent me photos and videos every week so I could see my boy in action with his buddies. She is flexible and has worked with me while being overseas and worked with my housemate to make sure that my dog has everything he needs. When he lost his tags, she took her personal time and replaced them. She is thoughtful and caring and truly loves the dogs. I feel very lucky to have found her services. You can’t go wrong with her. Kira's love for animals shines through. When I have visited her home, all the pups were so happy. I have seen her foster a mama cat with her kittens, too. She helped me care for a neighbor dog who was a bit wild and untrained, and really helped me strengthen my bond with him. Kira is also the founder of the East Oakland Burrito Roll, which shows her compassion for all our unhoused neighbors and their pups. She donated dog food as well as rolling burritos. Kira helped me learn how to take care of my first dog, and has been an excellent resource for animal care and animal hospitality in the Bay Area. I have seen the happiness that these animals exude in getting to spend time with her and how happy they are to return to her care. She gives them crazy outdoor time, tons of individual attention, and will return your pup or cat exhausted and content. Worth every cent! More...
