Duane is not only a great and talented photographer, but an amazing person. From the first time I met Duane, he made me feel comfortable almost immediately. We shot a location shoot and he was very patient with me. He would talk to me like a friend, asking about my life, interests, goals etc. From the first picture he took at the shoot to the last one he took, you can clearly tell the difference in my confidence and comfortability; all thanks to him! Picture wise, definitely worth it. Every time I see my pictures they never fail to amaze me. He makes sure everything is perfect- the angle, lighting, even your outfit or hair! Worked with Duane on a shoot recently as the makeup artist with 2 clients and I have to say upon first impression that Duane is a very professional photographer and one of the best that I’ve met in this industry. You can tell that he takes his job very seriously and has invested in a great set up among other things. He has a studio set up with plenty of backdrop options and made the shoot super easy for the clients. They were comfortable and happy with the results of the photos as we got to see them after each shot on his computer. The photos of them came out so beautiful. I first began working with Duane one on one about three to four years ago. My very first visit with him was great. I was nervous at first, but Duane was very professional and made me feel comfortable. After the that experience, I continued to work with Duane and we captured wonderful images. I ended up quitting the modeling scene because of having a child but Duane was still the guy I went to for a family session. After receiving the pictures my family was 100% pleased with the way Duane’s prints turned out as well as his professionalism and his eye to detail. Though I am no longer achieving a modeling career.. I will continue to use Duane’s studio for more work and I couldn’t be more excited to have him as a photographer and a friend.

Working with Duane Furlong really gave me a chance to step into the modeling industry. Prior to shooting with him I had only done location shoots. So he was the first photographer I had ever shot with in the studio and introduced me to different lighting techniques and angles to expect when in the studio. He was able to really get me out of my comfort zone to experiment with both artistic and fashion concepts. My husband was very comfortable with the idea that Duane was willing to meet him upon our first shoot together. It solidified a certain level of trust between photographer and model. Something that I wasn’t use to as a new model, because I was still so leery of being taken advantage of. After shooting with Duane, I finally felt comfortable enough to shoot with many other local photographers in studio. I have since shot with Duane several more times, and with each shoot our photos continue to improve on both of our parts. His current work is professional and undoubtedly publishable. But even more can be said for his character. He is someone who will never take advantage, willing to compromise, follows through, and is always there as a friend if needed. I couldn’t imagine my modeling growth without shooting with Duane Furlong. Our work together is something that I will always treasure and as I continue to follow his work, I look forward to seeing what he comes out with next! More...
