I feel so lucky to have been introduced to Drew to assist in capturing our wedding ceremony. He took the time to get to know my husband and I, understand what we were looking for, and offer suggestions where needed. The day of the ceremony, he was flexible with our lax schedule and fairly non-traditional approach, and ultimately did what he does best -- capturing our families in a very organic, natural way. The final product was a set of gorgeous memories that we will treasure forever.Of all the vendors/specialists we dealt with while planning the wedding, Drew stood out as being one of the most exceptional partners. Thank you! More...

Drew photographed a home that I sold beautifully.  The property had a tenant living in it with tremendous clutter.  Drew went the extra mile to not only help tidy the home so that it would photograph better, but also found a spot across the canyon to find the best vantage point possible.   I strongly recommend. Drew for any of your photography needs! More...

With a tremendous eye for what works, Drew understands composition, vision and the best way to capture light.  Because of that, our engagement photo shoot with Drew could not have gone smoother.  Over the course of several hours, Drew took us to the best spots in San Diego to capture our vision.  His understanding of composition and ability to try new and exciting scenes made my fiancé and I so comfortable.  As with any artist, you must let down your guard and trust them to deliver your vision...or trust them to create one for you that is honest, complex and very much "you".  Drew accomplishes this on multiple levels, professionally, artistically and personally. After just a few hours, we had hundreds of rich, high-quality photos to choose from.  We've received numerous compliments on our engagement photos and had a hard time choosing just one for our "Save the Date".  To truly appreciate the results, you need to use someone that truly appreciates the art form.  Look no further. Drew is a true professional! He shot our engagement photos and could not have delivered more perfect photos. He was able to connect with myself and fiancée (who isn't a huge fan of picture taking) and deliver amazing pictures that we can enjoy for years. He made us feel at ease and had great ideas for photo locations and natural poses. We were so happy with his work we have booked him to do our wedding. If you're looking for a photographer who is down to earth, on point and has an eye for great shots you should definitely consider working with Drew! More...

Q&As

A great photograph happens when a certain number of elements come together. Most of it has nothing to do with photography. I have found that having confidence in my technique and connecting with your subjects is probably the most essential elements that have to come together.

The need for photography ranges widely. It is essential to get an understanding of what a client needs beforehand.

-What do you need photographed?
-How many final images do you need?
-What is the end usage for the images?
-What does your production timeline look like?
