This changes all the time. As of now, mobile first design is the focus, but we typically create websites that are catered to multiple audiences' unique interests first. The key is delivering the best user experience, not wasting time trying to tell stories that people want to hear, but driving each person to content they want. Also, there needs to be a plethora (for all of you Three Amigos fans!) of behind-the-scenes systems for measurement and iteration of a successful website's content.
