I really don’t know where to begin to describe how gracious Rex was to me during the process of putting together a memorial video to honor my dad. He relieved so much stress with his patience and reassurance concerning the project. He went above and beyond by offering IT and technical assistance with the equipment we were using to play the video on. I can’t stress enough just how calming he was during this difficult time. He was professional and worked fast during a very short time frame. The quality of his work is unmatched! My entire family was very pleased with the video and kept asking me about who did it. His work was simply phenomenal. As a retired Lt Col of the Air Force, I can be very critical of work not done in a spirit of excellence. But let me tell you, his work is. I contacted Rex, and we even had a video call. He stated what he could do, and gave me a date the the would have a concept ready. That date past, and I didn't receive any heads up. I actually to contact him. He then said he was polishing it up and it be ready Thursday. Two days past Thursday, and Rex never contacted me. I was in a time crunch to get this music video done in 1 day and I needed it recorded and edited in a short period of time because the original plan didnt work out.
I call dragon fly media and they had me at "hello how can I help you!"
Rex was very hands on from the start asking all the important questions about what I wanted and needed from the start and that made me feel at ease to know that my vision was important to him. We did location scouting prior to the video shoot which took a lot of the quest work out of the video planning. I was very much please and satisfied with the production and outcome of the video and I look forward to working with dragon fly media soon and very soon. What do you love most about your job?
What I love about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with my clients and bring their ideas and projects to life. Video can be overwhelming and there are often a lot of moving parts, I pride myself on making the process as streamlined and simple as possible while insuring we are capturing everything we need to make the project a success.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I think I have always been the independent type to start with. Having by own business allows me the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, collaborate and create fun and engaging work. Every day is a little different and each project brings it's own challenges. This may sound cheesy, but it's true... at the end of the day, seeing a project through and the client happy is rewarding for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think clients should choose me for a couple of reasons:
1) First and foremost that I'm the right fit for the job - I think it's important to discuss a project from the very beginning and understand what the purpose of the video is and the expectations of the client. I want to be sure that I can deliver what they are looking for.
2) I'm a collaborator. Once we've discussed the project I'll do my best to add my knowledge and experience to the project in pre-production and on set. The goal is to create the best possible product and by working together we can achieve that.
3) I enjoy the work I do and I like to make the experience as fun and pleasant as possible.
