Dr. Mom (Jan) is always reliable, on time, and a great communicator. She sends pics of my dogs throughout the time we are away. I have used Jan numerous times for extended periods of time from 5 - 12 days. My dogs love her, and she is very caring that my one dog who is chill (only needs a shorter walk) while my other is super active and needs more exercise. I always relax when I know Jan is there taking care of my dogs. More...

What do you love most about your job?
After caring for humans for almost 30 years, I've redirected my compassion and desire to help others towards dogs. The unconditional love and companionship I've received in return have been overwhelming.
I love the snuggles, kisses, and camaraderie that only dogs can provide.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After retiring, I wanted to stay active and do something that corresponded to my interests. Having a lifelong love of dogs and my own dog, as well, I decided to start a dog sitting business. My vet was impressed with the way I cared for my dog and started sending me referrals. I also got clients through my dog's groomer. My clients recommended me to their friends .
Why should our clients choose you?
Being a retired ER doctor, I'm available to watch over your fur babies 24/7. My natural drive to help others means your pooch will be smothered in tender, loving care and attended to ... whether on a walk, chasing a ball, snuggling on the sofa, or having a sleepover party.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
No, I offer no online or remote services for dogs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I did no dog sitting until I had the first two COVID-19 vaccinations.
Dog Boarding at my condo
If your fur baby is well-behaved and less than 30 pounds, you've found a perfect home for him/her, when you travel. I live in a first floor condo with a screened-in porch. Our community is set back from the road and offers a paved sidewalk and large grassy areas so we can take long, safe walks together. I have my own dog, Theo, an extremely mellow rescue from the streets of Quito, Ecuador. He's 11 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Theo is very calm and has gotten along with all the dogs we've watched together. As a retired ER doctor, I'll be there for your pooch 24/7. If your furry friend has any medical issues, I'm able to administer any type of medication to him/her. I welcome dogs of all ages, with any type of medical problem, and, of course, healthy ones, as well.

I'm a retired ER doctor available to provide 24/7 companionship to your precious pets. I'm able to administer any medication your fur babies may need and my medical background comes in handy if they have medical issues. I also come with my own dog, Theo, who is an extremely mellow, 18 pound, 11-year-old rescue from the streets of Quito, Ecuador. He has gotten along with all the dogs we've cared for together. I'll also be happy to watch over your home while you're away. I'll gather the mail, accept packages, put out the garbage cans, let pool people and landscapers on your property, and water plants. At the end of our stay, I'll wash my bed linens and tidy up so that you can just come home and relax.
