Amazing academy to come and learn jiu jitsu! Adem is a fantastic professor with years of knowledge to share. All of the professors that teach at Redzovic’s gym are very kind, professional, and incredibly willing to help you learn. Lessons are timed out properly and they even offer a self defense class for those interested in learning some empowering skills. Beautiful gym with work out equipment, showers (that are clean!), co-ed changing rooms all included for students to take advantage of! If you live or work in the downtown area of Chicago you have to take a class here. Adem Redzovic is hands down one of the best teachers and practitioners in the country of this amazing art. I started in my mid 40’s and I’m currently approaching 50 years old and I thought I was to old for this sport. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s been a great way to stay in shape, meet new friends (brotherhood) and what surprised me most is it’s very addictive. I learn everyday, my metal health has never been better and honestly I fell in love with Juijitsu. You will too! Highly recommend Adem! More...

Had the great pleasure of training with Downtown Jiu Jitsu while on a trip to Chicago. Adem and the others were so welcoming and helpful. The instruction was extremely detailed oriented and insightful... really honed in on the "why" for each drill. Loved the layout of the facility, very clean, organized and well thought out.
