At Dogma, we believe the key to a good dog is Structure, Consistency and Patience. We use a training program that sets an expectation for good behavior and we hold the dog accountable by utilizing various tools including slip leashes, prong collars and ecollars. We focus on behavior modification and obedience training.

Helping people understand what their dogs are capable of. And helping people get to a healthy point with the relationship they have with their dogs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to be able to practice what I preach and not have to be restricted by someone else's views or opinions.

I will train you on how to keep a balanced home and relationship with your dog where you hold them accountable for their misbehaving and reward/praise the good decisions they make.

We offer free phone consultations and via zoom. Usually take about 30-45 minutes. We don't like to offer lessons remotely.
Board and Train
Our board & train programs are known for creating extreme improvements in dog’s behaviors in a short amount of time, while educating the owner so they can create consistency and structure once the dog is back home. From puppy training, basic obedience to reactivity and aggression, this is a great way to kick-start your dog’s progress.
While our board & train programs have helped a variety of behavioral issues with our client’s dogs, we are known for our ability to train and rehabilitate dogs with behavioral issues resulting in aggression and even bite histories.
These programs are limited to a small number of dogs per program, allowing us to dedicate the one-on-one time needed to address your dog’s specific needs.
Our 2-3 week board & train program offers a decent foundation and understanding of the basic commands: Come, Sit, Down, Place, Down and Break, improved leash etiquette, waiting for food and waiting at doors. These programs are best for dogs with minimal issues such as hyperactivity, leash-pulling, and other unruly behavior that does not involve aggression.

Our 4-6 week board & train programs offer mastered basic commands: Come, Sit, Place, Down and Break, leash etiquette, waiting for food, waiting at doors and crate training. These programs are ideal for extra stubborn dogs, extreme hyperactivity, dogs who experience separation anxiety, are dog/human aggressive, leash reactive or demonstrate resource guarding.

Each program includes a slip lead, prong collar, ecollar, weekly updates, learning materials for you to continue the training at home, ongoing phone/email support and discounted Group Class rates.
It also includes several one-on-one lessons between you and our trainer to give you everything you need for continued success at home:
30-minute “Drop Off” Info Session - When your dog begins the program
Two 60-minute “Go Home” Lesson - Last two days of the program
Two 60-minute “Reinforcement” Lessons - The 2 following weeks after the program

It would be unethical of us to offer a 100% guarantee for these reasons, however, we continuously see incredible transformations.
