What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Preparation is a big one:
Understanding my clients favorite music is very important. Also understanding their dislikes.
Reading the crowd is a must:
You don't want to play loud high energy music during cocktail hour. Save that for open dancing!
Being confident on the mic:
You want someone comfortable on the mic to keep the party alive. Also coordinating the events throughout the day.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I have a very flexible style. I guarantee I can accommodate to whatever style you would like for your event!
But MY perferred style is fun, energetic, and high energy.
I love playing music that everyone can either sing a long to or dance to.
My favoirtite genres are Disco/Funk, Hip-Hop, EDM and Pop.
I take song requests and I have mastered mixing in any song at any time.
What do you love most about your job?
I've love this job as much as I did when I started 11 years ago. I love creating memories and playing music everyone enjoys and showcasing my mixing. I love connecting with my clients and I sometimes join the dance floor and dance with the crowd and hype everyone up. It always feels good when I get compliments throughout the night because I know that I've done my job correctly and that my clients are leaving happy and even wanting more.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To put it simply. My love for music. Music has been in my life every since I could remember. It started just as a hobby when I was 16 and djing raves and clubs I was too young for for years. Just about 6 years ago I got serious about becoming more professional doing birthday parties to corporate and now djing weddings and I love every second of it. I am an official business that is recognized in the state of California.
