Dj FELA came for the high school homecoming dance that I organized. He was easy to get a hold of, with very quick responses. He was also reliable! DJ Fela helped make our wedding perfect! He was very flexible and understanding. Anything he wasn’t sure of, he asked questions to ensure everything went perfectly. Before the wedding, he made time to call and walk through specific songs and requests which was very helpful and helped us trust him and know it was all going to workout. We ended up having a tornado warning during our wedding, and his equipment saved the day and allowed us to keep dancing the night away with his backup battery powered speakers and light! DJ Fela kept the party going at our reception! Our guests had a great time with the photo booth. The uplighting and monogram projection of our last name were perfect additions to our overall design. WOW! DJ FELA is absolutely hands down a fantastic DJ! He was so relaxed and easy to work with, as well as incredibly responsive. He asked me to create a spotify playlist of all songs I wanted to hear throughout the night and kept the energy of the evening alive! Also - his DJ booth set up emanated high levels of energy to the dance floor! It was the perfect balance of fun upbeat lighting to set the ambiance of the dance floor. DJ Fela made our wedding night a freakin blast! When booking Alef I could immediately tell that we were making the best choice, he was seriously so kind and responsive. He asked us what our budget was and told us what we could get with it, which made booking him so easy because of how straight forward his pricing was. During the upcoming months of the wedding he would message me to check in on things and made sure he had everything he needed to make our night perfect. BOOK HIM! There are so many great things about DJ FELA. First he has super affordable pricing and packages. Fit our budget perfectly. Second, he let's you make your own playlist! which was a requirement of mine :) third, he is so personable, always responded to my messages right away and literally talked me through anything. He stuck around to help get people engaged with the booth and stopped back at the venue to check on us throughout the night in case we needed anything. 1) Great variety of package options to fit your events needs/budget. 2) Extremely kind, accommodating, and friendly to work with. 3) The photo booth setup he has is extremely nice and convenient. Guests can both print physical copies, and digitally send themselves a copy, they don't have to choose one or the other. 3) Knows how to read a crowd and give them what they want. We told Alef that we wanted the music to stay geared towards a wider audience during the beginning of the night and then start migrating towards more "contemporary" music requested by the bridal party. Right from the get go, the dance floor was on FIRE with everybody and their mother dancing to classics like ABBA. As the older guests continued to filter out, the music got more in line with our likings. By the end of the night, it was pretty much a GRIMEY bass set and we were 100% about it.
