What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
There is no secret, just the fundamentals. Good music selection, reading the crowd and playing what they like, mixing in music that experience tells you will work. Unfortunately, for many DJs there is no Holy Grail.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I DO NOT believe there is bad music, only bad songs. My style includes using the good songs and mixing them with your requests to create a music selection that reflects the client. My knowledge of music goes back to the 40's, although I rarely have to go that far back. Most of the music that is selected are from the 80's to today.
