DJ Alex was an amazing DJ at my wedding this past weekend! My guest were raving about him all night and even after the wedding. He was on time for setting up. He brought equipment for my ceremony outside and equipment for my reception inside. He provided the mics for both as well. We picked out just 10 songs for the main events and let him play his own music choices the remainder of the night and we would do it again! Not having the stress of making a music list was awesome and he felt out what music the guest wanted to listen to and took request from guest as well. We had a “do not play list” that he followed thru the night. His MCing skills were incredible and really pumped up the crowd. I hired DJ Alex for my wedding in November and he did an awesome job. He was in constant communication with me leading up to the wedding and was very thorough in helping me plan all of the music for the various activities of the day. We needed a mix of Arabic and English music and he helped us figure out the perfect mix. Not only was he professional and did a great job on the day of. He, unfortunately, had appendicitis and was in the hospital days before the wedding and was still able to deliver everything as expected. We loved working will Christina and Alex. Music was great and we had a full dance floor they entire night! Christina also ran the photo booth and everyone loved that. Both Alex and Christina were super easy to work with. I appreciated the meetings they set up to make sure they had all their ducks in a row and all music was right and in order. DJ Alex was the star of the wedding. We held a fusion (Indian Western) wedding where our guests were expecting both types of music. We were a little nervous about not hiring a DJ with little to no experience with Bollywood music. DJ Alex quickly eased our concerns ensuring that he would take handle anything that he had to work with. He went above and beyond in scoping our the venue a few times before the event so that he could plan on how to setup (this is something very few wedding vendors do w/o charging). DJ Alex was a vendor in which we gave a basic outline of what we wanted and he handled the rest without burdening the bride/groom on anything that could have gone wrong. For example, we gave him a custom precession song in which we were hoping to have the entire wedding party walk down to. I was nervous that the the song would end while the party would still be walking down. Sure enough, DJ Alex had the foresight to take the song and seamlessly loop it specifically if we went long. Just I mention he also played an amazing set where the dance floor was never empty! He was also a bargain compared to all DJs. He was truly an MVP at our wedding! More...

I cannot speak highly enough about YourDay Entertainment feat DJ Alex. Christina was AMAZING all day. They arrived early and managed all vendors for my backyard wedding beautifully. Christina even helped get everything set up beautifully. My family had a worry-free day because of her hard work.They work together SO well and thanks to them, the wedding flowed better than I could have imagined. Alex's music taste is unmached. He was able to read the crowd and kept people on the dance floor the entire time. I countinually hear how much FUN people had and it is largely thanks to this team. I hired Alex for my son's graduation party this past weekend. Prior to the party the communications level was fantastic. He worked with me to come up with a song list and kept reminding me to finalize it 2 weeks before the party. I gave him few songs and asked him to pick the rest as he likes. He texted me few times to check on my preps which was so sweet. On the day of the party he came early to set up and it went so smoothly. He has a very sweet and pleasant attitude and is so cooperative. The music was amazing. Everyone young and old enjoyed it and didn't stop dancing. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
A great strategy that has always work for me in events is connecting with the audience, developing a chemistry with them but most of all engaging with them through the music while they dance.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My level of style is charismatic with a spice of energetic persona during the whole event.
What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
Its the pathway to the fun!! It's an insurance that your guest will have a great time in case the rest does not go as planned.For those who dont dance or maybe the mixed music doesn't get them out of their seats,I will interact with the invites and make sure they had a great time.Thats my insurance.
What photo booth props do you offer?
We offer inflatables,masks,hilariously wigs and funny signs
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy the reaction of the crowd when they hear a classic hit, an old school hit, a mash up mix of their favorite song, but best of all,that song that they do not expect to hear that put them to dance 5,10 or maybe 20years ago, that is a special moment to enjoy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been a musician since I was 16 years old and I've always been around the stage and I love entertain the crowd either playing instruments, singing, acting or mixing music, the art of music is my passion.
