I must say, I don’t think there are enough positive words in the dictionary to fully describe our experience with Mike and his crew. From start to finish we felt an immediate connection and a sense of comfort. Even the day before our wedding, we had a sudden hiccup that Mike was able to help us with...and it wasn’t even his job. Just out of the goodness of his heart he was sweating his butt off before our ceremony to give us the most gorgeous and perfect day possible. He took our vision of music and magnified it to a level that I didn’t even know was possible (and I put him through the ringer, we have a very eclectic taste). That dance floor was never. Clear. We went all night long and the whole place was thumping. His mood was always positive and always about us. Money well worth spent. Not to mention, the services he provide are AWESOME. Mike was above and beyond what I wished for in our DJ and MC. He pulled double duty for us and made it seem so effortless. I've been to my fair share of weddings where the DJ tried their best to fill both roles and I can honestly say no one has done it better than Mike.

From day one, Mike and his team worked directly with us, came to visit my daughter and myself at our home to work out the details of our Sweet 16 event. In the days leading up to the party each question I had was answered quickly and concisely. With so much happening in planning a party, communication is key especially when finalizing an itinerary for our special day. Mike explained everything perfectly to a first timer like myself, and never tried to oversell anything we didn’t need.
This communication and professionalism led to an awesome event for my daughter and guests! The music was exactly as we discussed ahead of time. The timings of the event with introductions, candle ceremony, dinner were spot on and made the event flow perfectly, always keeping people engaged.
Our MC, Brandon, got everyone out on the floor, fired up the room and had the entire place rocking! Having the MC – as suggested by Mike – really brought the event full circle, and was a must have! The DJ, Mike, had the music and reactive lighting setup that really energized the room for the young and old! Adding in the photography with the television screens, it was a complete package that had everyone raving at the end of the night.
All my picture and video requests were timed perfectly with the intros and candle lighting ceremony, and in the end we felt like we got treated the same as any big budget wedding as we were for my daughter's more intimate Sweet 16 event.

I cannot say enough about Mike and his crew! I hold multiple events a year and I won't pick a date unless I've checked with Mike first. He's the most professional and accommodating DJ I know. We used Diamond Cut DJs for our wedding at Antun's of Queens Village and they were fantastic! We had Mike and he was great! I'm picky with music and I had a long list of songs and artists I did not want played and they did not play any of them so I was very happy. They got our guests up and dancing and played songs everyone could enjoy. Some people said it was loud in the room but hello it's a wedding not a funeral we are all dancing not talking, I loved it haha. Very professional and good on the microphone as well. When Sean and I got engaged it wasn’t even a question who we wanted to DJ/MC our wedding. After going to multiple family member’s weddings with Mike and Diamond Cut Productions keeping the dance floor packed, my company began using them for our annual winter party and had he never disappoints. I was so excited to have him as a part of our day. Mike was attentive but not pushy through the preparation. Of the many vendors we worked with for my daughter‘s sweet 16 in December, Michael was by far the best. He was responsive, professional, delivered exactly what we requested all with a big smile on his face. All of the kids agreed that they’ve never been to a party with better entertainment. If I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish, not a Mike have his all. The music was amazing. We wanted fun dance music, going through the decades so everyone was dancing, and mike delivered that and so much more. The dance floor was always packed. We had a Sunday Day wedding and it felt like a Saturday night. I’m still having my friends and family say what a fun wedding, the dance floor was never empty! Mike was amazing! From the day we met him he has always been so easy to talk to and is super flexible! Anything we wanted he made happen and even when things didn’t go according to plan (i totally forgot to buy a garter lol) he didn’t skip a beat, problem solved with us and we were still able to throw the “garter” lol and it made a great story! I used them for my recent wedding at George Weir Barn and they did our entire day from wedding ceremony to cocktail hour to all night wedding reception and there was barely a single guest not on the dance floor. My new husband and I barely got time to mingle with all of our guests because we were dancing all night long as well. Mike and Phil, who were the respective MC and DJ for my wedding were phenomenal. Mike owned the schedule of events, worked seamlessly with our day-of wedding coordinator at the barn, and checked in with me every step of the way to make sure that not a single moment was missed. Whether it was checking in on the procession order, confirming name pronunciations, or making smart recommendations for the best timing for key moments like dances and speeches, Mike was there every step of the way. He made the process worry and stress-free for me as a bride and there was not a single song that every guest didn't love. Mike and Phil catered to all of our wishes, brought all the equipment you could need, and even worked with me and my cousin so I could sing a surprise song to my groom as a wedding present and it went off flawlessly. Phil kept the tunes going all night long, one hit after the next, and it appealed to our older family crowd and younger friends and bridal party. Mike and Phil were an absolute thrill and pleasure to work with, and I'm sure they set the tone for all the representatives at their company. They are early rather than on-time, stayed until the last minute, and worked with the multiple locations we had for our day. Not only is the value for what you get better than any vendor that we researched, but he is genuinely invested in every single event that he takes care of and goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy. We also had a photo booth at our wedding, which was such a fun addition for our guests. It also gave us some amazing candids that we will treasure forever. We worked with Mike at Diamond Cut and he was amazing. We are a young couple with atypical taste for our age - we like classic rock and 90s dance. Mike made the perfect combination of these genres for our wedding. He sent documents with our favorites and "don't play" music for us to fill out prior and he hit everything perfectly. All of our "must plays" were perfectly incorporated. My music style didn't fit with all of our guests so Mike came down to me, the bride and asked permission to mix in some 70s to get some of our people up and moving since that wasn't our chosen music. I'm not a fan of the 70s, but he picked just the right stuff to get people moving and still keep me happy with the choices he made. I honestly do not think we could have picked a better DJ. We will be recommending him to everybody we know. We'd love to be guests at a wedding that he is working - it'd be like reliving our perfect day with our perfect music! Our wedding was 6-2-18. Mike and his team were absoulty amazing. First off we had people of all ages because we both have larage families and we have two different backs rounds. We had a Spanish bi-lingual MC who was able to connect with everyone who was there, and he everyone up dancing. Mike was the DJ and it was PERFECTION. He had everyone of all ages up and shaking it. What makes a great party is a great DJ and you can not go wrong with diamond cut. We met with other companies who wanted a whole play list of songs which for us was hard because we had such a mix of people and ages where we felt it would be better for the DJ to feel the crowd, we told Mike our concerns and gave him a few songs to play (under 10) and to use his judgement, because after all it’s what they do and love so he should know better than me how to get people up and having a good time. Highly recommend him and his team. We also added a percussionist-everyone loved it and it is for sure worth the upgrade. Mike and the rest of Diamond Cut Productions was absolutely amazing!! Mike was extremely patient and so upbeat with my husband and I throughout the whole process. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We received so many compliments on the music! My family is Jamaican/ Jewish ( Russian) and my husband is Italian. Diamond Cut literally had every person up on the dance floor! The talent is incredible! For such a diverse crowd, Diamond Cut had everyone involved. From my son whose two-years old, two my great uncle in-law whose 85... not one person was not dancing . The transition in different genres was so organic ... it was not forced or awkward! My husband and I got married 11/11/17 and we couldn't have imagined having anyone other than Mike to DJ our wedding. We had met with several other DJ companies before meeting with Diamond Cut.
