We were referred to this photographer via a family member and I do not know her personally.
That being said, she was "insulted" when my wife expressed concerns she had when we dealt with another photographer we paid upfront and never finished work.
Her response to my wife's concern was just to cancel our session and leave us hanging (our session was scheduled next day).
All of our communications with Heather were via text message in Messenger and she could not give my wife the benefit of the doubt when expressing concern and instead she jumped the gun and let her feelings get in the way instead of having my wife clarify.
As an added note, after she and I had a non-confrontational, professional conversation via Messenger she immediately blocked my ability to leave an honest review on Facebook.

Thanks for your pleasant review, my clients that know me will know who to believe when they. One across this. I’m not worried. Again this was your wife asking to not pay in full as requested and It is my choice to cut ties with her. Maybe use this time to find a new photographer for your wife and baby.

We just had our 3rd child a few weeks ago and Heather did her newborn photos. We were so impressed with Heather. She was patient with our 2 older boys and took the time to get amazing pictures of our new baby girl.
Not only are her prices very reasonable and fair, but she is also an amazing artist. She definitely has the eye for finding just the right pose and setting to help you remember those first newborn moments.
Now that we have found Days Go By Photography, we definitely plan on becoming repeat customers. Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did and for our lasting memories!

This was my first time working with Heather. I just had my baby boy and went to her for his newborn photo session. He is my 3rd child and we also included some sibling photos.
Baby boy was 5 days old when his photo session was done. I just had a c-section and the recovery process has been extremely difficult on me. Heather was extremely helpful and made me feel so comfortable. I was very comfortable with her handling my newborn. Don't think many mommies can say that about a complete stranger.
Her workspace is very warm and inviting. Her studio was so clean and organized. She was very quick to respond to my Facebook messages and was very thorough in explaining her pricing.
Heather is a true professional. It was an absolute pleasure to meet her and have her capture moments I will cherish forever. We will definitely be booking future sessions with her. Thank you for the great experience Heather!
