After being in business for 40 years, Vision Consulting Group has been of benefit in our business in a dynamic way. David and Michelle personally implemented an employee assessment program with our leadership team. Q&As

I love working with business leaders and teams, period. I LOVE seeing people truly feel valued in their workplace and I LOVE helping managers leaders and business owners build cultures of empowerment!

I have a family business background. Growing up, my father, grandfather, and one of my uncles owned and managed small businesses together. In my executive / management career I've worked in businesses with 5-100 Team members - across nearly every industry.

No matter what industry, my "job" in the businesses I've owned and managed was about improving performance - plain and simple. Over the years I found ways to improve performance (and of course business equity value!) through improving the organizational health of the Team.

When I realized that I had developed fully repeatable systems for these things, I wanted to share it with more people and so I started consulting others on how to use the methods!

It's always tough for me to answer this one. I have a hard time talking myself up. So let's just leave it with these short points:
- My ENTIRE life has been direct exposure to the management/ownership of businesses in the 5-100 employee size-range.

- I have owned and managed in multiple industries and can speak the language of all.

- I LOVE people and I have routinely helped my clients accomplish things that they truly thought were impossible. I'm open and honest in my communication, but caring when I deliver the truth.

- I value relationships over everything else and my heart's desire is to see my clients truly succeed - by their own definition of the word.

My services are deliverable both online/remotely AND on-site if desired. We can discuss which options best fit when we speak.

Every service I provide can be delivered remotely so when COVID-19 entered the picture, I was able to immediately enter a "safe space" for the clients. On-site work is slowly coming back into the picture but with social distancing and masks a requirement indefinitely.

The Connective Workplace Certification is an HR biased management training certification aimed at improving communication. It touches all three of the "DEI" components (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and creates a simple, effective, and 3rd party accountable process for organizational improvement and health.

My specialty is designing compensation packages which drive specific outcomes as desired by ownership or executive level management. Analysis of compensation and benefits from both a regional and competitive standpoint. Coaching and Consulting to design and implement new systems to truly connect with and gather insights from employees at all levels of an organization. I have designed simple tools that are easy to use and easy to teach. I offer simple, highly effective, and easy to implement coaching, consulting, and training to improve leadership skills, execution, ability to gather and analyse data, and strategic thinking. I also provide simple easy to use tools for these processes as well as tools for improving internal relationships and organizational health.

This is a really difficult service offering to frame up in simple terms. I have been an employee, an entrepreneur and a manager of other amazing humans. Business and Career Coaching is SUPER personal and I have personal experience with these areas across most all situations. I have contemplated leaving good jobs to start businesses, I've left good jobs to start businesses and I've stayed in good jobs and put off starting businesses. Hahaha. I have worked as a volunteer in my local workforce board (where local unemployed people get coached and trained for new careers) and I've counseled hundreds of people through their career questions and shifts.
