Dave was great! Not only did he take our engagement pictures (which came out colorful and beautiful), he took our wedding photos as well. I'm a bit awkward in front of the camera and it didn't translate that way in our wedding or engagement photos. My husband and I were really pleased with all of the photos that Dave took for us. Neither my husband or myself are from the San Antonio area or knew of any couples that had their wedding here so it was hard to find all of our vendors, but Dave was a consummate professional throughout the whole wedding process and made the wedding planning that much easier. Dave is an amazing and talented photographer! And even better, he is a very kind and patient person!!

Dave first shot our engagement shoot and I couldn't have been happier. I was so nervous to be in front of a camera and he is so easy going that it really helped me to feel comfortable. He is good at giving direction when needed and he is also always on board for those wacky shots you want to emulate from your pinterest searching!!

December 2014, Dave shot our wedding. He was at the hotel at 9am to document the bridal preps and never missed a beat. The whole time he was either shooting great moments with my girls, or arranging my accessories to get some artistic detail shots. Those are the ones that really add the extra touch when you are designing your wedding album. I think I was most impressed that most of the time, I didn't realize Dave was in the room. I told him that my focus was on candid shots and he sure delivered.

After preps he travelled with us the mile to the venue, took photos of us fixing up our accessories, and then the detail photos of the venue and reception set up. The whole time he was working great with our videographer (Rick Lemmons) and the two of them really played off one another the whole day. He photographed our "First Look", pre-ceremony groups, the ceremony, post-ceremony groups, the full reception and the sparkler exit at MIDNIGHT!! All in all, it was at least 15 hours of flat shooting time!!

He quickly had my photos up for viewing after editing the top 1500. He has a very user-friendly website that you can then go and pick your favorites (I selected my top 500) and then he uses your favorites and builds the album of your dreams. He uses only the top quality for printing and is very candid with pricing and budgeting where you are comfortable.

I cannot say enough about Dave as a photographer or as a person. My husband and I are very blessed to have had him to document our wedding and I would recommend him to anyone!!!! More...
