An uncomfortable feeling is not an enemy. It's a gift that says "Get honest; inquire" -Byron Katie. I believe that therapy is one of the greatest gifts that a person can give themselves. It allows the person to get interested and to inquire about who they are to increase their conscious awareness. I believe that each and every person has all of the answers that they need but they may need some assistance in navigating through the process because fear and judgment have gotten in the way. I am here to travel alongside you through your journey.
I work to create a space where clients can explore the inner parts of themselves without judgment from themselves or anyone else. My approach is gentle, compassionate, and direct. We will work together to create changes within yourself which will then lead to changes in your environment.
I provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples from a broad variety of concerns. I have extensive experience working with clients who struggle with eating disorders and borderline personality disorder. I am also trained in the Gottman Method which is geared specifically towards working with couples.
