What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I believe the secret to taking a great photograph is all in the relationship of the photographer to the client. I love to bring positive energy and a comfortable environment to every session so that we can create the best images together.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I love to chat with my clients before the session. I like to ask about them personally, find out what exactly they want from the session and what type of story or vibe they want to tell through the images. When working with clients it is all about them. I bring my knowledge and expertise in photography, but the final images are always about them and their vision.
What do you love most about your job?
I love telling other peoples stories and creating memories for them to cherish throughout their lifetime and to pass down to generations to come.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I earned my college degree in Photography, however while in college I started blowing glass. I created and ran a successful glass jewelry business for over 16 years. After having my first baby, I knew it was time to stop working in such a harsh, unhealthy environment. Wanting to stay in the arts field, naturally I turned back to photography. Owning my own business has always been in my blood....it was a no brainer.
