I should have updated long ago. Brian brought in Wendy to handle Cooper and she is WONDERFUL. Wendy is patient and forgiving of his moodiness and always goes the extra mile. Brian and his entire dog walking/pet sitting staff are the best we have ever experienced. We have been using his dog walking service consistently for several years. We have 3 dogs, that are challenging to walk in a pack. Brian's staff is exceptional at working with our dogs. They never miss a walk and our dogs are always very well taken care of. Brian is also very flexible when we request schedule changes or if we have a need that comes up at the last minute. He helped us immensely when we had an urgent need for a pet sitter and a dog walker. Â Brian is always very responsive and eager to help with anything that we need. His online billing system is very convenient and easy to use. In addition, all dog walks are logged in an online system, and the dog walkers provide comments after each walk. Brian and his staff are awesome! They've been taking care of Chase (German Shepard) since Nov.14, Chase was still 7 month at that time (before that I would drop him off at dog day care and that was a nightmare! Chase became aggressive, barking a lot, picking up many bad habits from other dogs), Chase loves Brian and all of his staff, they walk Chase daily while I'm at work and they also stay the night with him when I'm out of town. Great service! Our usual "pet sitter" was out of town. So we had to scramble to find someone to take car of our girl. Lucky we came across Daddy's Dog Walking! I was a little worried about leaving our dog home alone with only strangers visiting but after I met with Brian and Frasier I felt 100% confident that she was in goods hands. Frasier visited her in the morning for a walk and in the evening for a walk and feeding. One of our friends did not return the hide a key so he ended up having to jump the gate to do is job, that is serious dedication! Because of my family issue, I need to leave the country for 2 weeks, however, my fiance' worked more than 10 hours a day, so I need someone to walk my dogs. Brian and his team of walkers are so wonderful. They are excellent with communication and they take excellent care of my dog. Brian really understands dogs and their personalities and I always notice that my dog is a better walker after she has spent some time with Daddy's. Daddy's Dog Walking did an excellent job watching our cats. Both the critters need daily medicine, and aren't great about talking them. Brian and his team are wonderful. Â When I contacted Brian I was dealing with aggression and anxiety in my dog that was heading in a bad direction. Â I really needed someone who understood dogs and especially unpredictable dogs. Â I work a good distance from home and needed to make sure my dog got out but could not hire just anyone to work with him. Â A few weeks after Brian started helping me my dog bit my niece and It was unclear if he could be rehabilitated. Â I contacted a vet behaviorist and came up with a plan to try to get my boy on a better track. Â Needless to say there were many rules that needed to be followed and Brian embraced the plan as well as added his own elements that undoubtedly helped. Â I am happy to say that my dog is doing amazingly well and I know how much Brian contributed to his success. Â Neighbors stop me to tell me how impressed they are with how well Bob is doing and they want to know who Brian is as they see how good he is. This was our first vacation without our dog and I was really nervous about it because our dog is difficult to walk. Â He is a large male (100 lbs) and he pulls ! Â I contacted Brian 2 weeks prior to leaving so our dog would get use to him. Â Brian did an outstanding job. Â He was reliable and trustworthy, very professional. Â He even gave us some pointers to help correct some of our dog's behavior. I left on vacation with peace in mind knowing that our dog would be well taken care of. I use Brian and his team to watch my cats when I travel. He is very caring, thorough and communicates often while I am away. My female cat is a bit of a diva and he was able to interact with her in a familiar manner right upon entering my home. What do you love most about your job?
I stumbled across my first dog walking job in 2003. I had no idea it would soon become the best job I have ever had! I loved working with animals and found true happiness in my work days. I had an excellent teacher and soon became, in my opinion, an excellent dog handler.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Turning a job into a career is a tough decision for some but I felt up to the challenge. I learned early on that being a good animal care professional and being a good business owner are two distinct qualities. With a built in ability to manage my time, calendar, staff, and schedules, opening Daddy's Dog Walking was a natural progression. I enjoy being the face of Daddy's Dog Walking and interacting with my clients almost as much as visiting their animals!
Why should our clients choose you?
Dog walking and pet sitting is a very personal relationship. I will be trusted not only with the care of your animals, but the security of your home and belongings. To many of our clients we become part of the "family" and we are their eyes and ears while they are away from home, whether during the workday or while out of town. I don't try to "sell" clients on my services. Instead I try to present a professional and reliable business that can be depended on.
Dog Walking
Dog Walking is an important part of every dogs life. Some dogs benefit from the discipline and training. Others benefit just by exploring the world around them. All can benefit from the exercise (and sometimes they just need to get outside and go potty!) We walk your dogs independently, in your neighborhood, without driving them around to pick up other dogs.
Pet Sitting
Let your pets stay home when you travel. We will help you set up a service schedule that will take care of your pets needs while you are away. Some pets need us just once a day, others need 3 or 4 visits. We can help take care of other household chores as well (mail, newspaper, plant watering, etc.)
Overnight Care
Sometimes it’s just better for someone to spend the night in your home and keep your pets company overnight. Our professional, responsible, staff members will do everything they can to give your pets the attention they need while you are away.
