I'm not a self-taught photographer, I also didn't go to college. I needed to learn more than what I could find in books and on the web, so I found advertising photographers who's work I loved and began emailing and coldcalling them, asking to be their assistant. I then trained as an apprentice and eventually began freelancing as an assistant to 30 high end advertising photographers who shoot for national & international brands like Underarmour, JCPenneys, Pier1, Walmart, Architectural Digest, HGTV, Chili's & Discovery Channel. I found out that assistants are an indispensable crewmember for advertising photographers. My hard work was paid back with cash, mentors and more importantly, trade secrets they don't teach in any university.

I then created D9Photos to craft impactful visual content for growing brand's marketing campaigns; allowing them to stand out and compete with the big dogs.

Jeff specializes in finding creative solutions to complex problems for product-centric brands, thanks to his successful career working on set with a wide variety of high end photographers.

Jeff is especially versatile, having learned hands on what it takes to produce, shoot, light & edit scalable photography projects for product, food, interior design / builders, Cannabis/Hemp and lifestyle campaigns.

His focus is product photography whether that's a watch, a bed set, bottle or decor.

He can put together a 20-person crew, build, paint and design entire rooms from scratch or scale it down to shooting your products on a white backdrop. Due to his network, ingenuity, versatility and love for nurturing growing business, no project is too large or to small.
