As a guru, Padma garu not only focuses on teaching the fundamentals of Bharatnayam by making them fun but also imparts life skills like discipline and confidence. She provides constructive feedback, pushes the students to do their best and showers them with so much love. She is very established and well connected in the community; gets invited to perform all across Greater Cincinnati area. She gives her students every opportunity to perform - this year alone there were 60 such events. As a mom, I have valued her ability to build a community that supports each other, taking time to provide detailed input in preparation for performances, and always checking in if we have any questions. Padmaji teaches the fundamentals of Bharatnatyam, but also keeps class fun for the young ones by teaching various dances and incorporating group time in classes. Padma is a great Indian culture and dance Guru. Through her students' live performances, she not only entertains the audiences, but also educates them about the Indian culture. She develops the student's dance skills as well as their personality. All her students from the tender age of three get good training, discipline and exposure.
