CTW Photography went above and beyond! Working with Carissa and Tanya was amazing and they made sure to be there for everything from getting ready to the dance. They have this amazing ability of always been there, but also never being distracting, you almost forget that they are there which captures some of the most beautiful candids :) They both were so professional and organized which put my mind at ease leading up to the wedding. The pictures turned out better than I could have ever expected!! I also did the videography through CTW and I am blown away by the result. Joni did such an amazing job of capturing all the main parts including vows and speeches, but also capturing the beautiful details of the day. It is truly something that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we plan to watch it every anniversary :) Definitely recommend CTW to anyone looking to get married!! More...

We first reached out to CTW two years before our wedding when we were looking for a photographer that would serve both Iowa City and travel to the Chicago area for our wedding. After meeting Carissa and Tanya, we knew we had no need to look any further! We really cannot say enough good things about CTW and will always recommend them to anyone getting married. Tanya took amazing engagement photos for us and was so much fun to work with. She was even willing to drive 20+ minutes to find a new place for our photos as the original park didn't have the "fall colors" we were looking for. A few weeks ago, Tanya yet again showed us her amazing skills at our wedding, and Amy was an awesome second photographer to work with too. Working with Carissa and Tanya was one of the best decisions of my entire wedding. I was very picky when picking out a photographer, and CTW was more than I could have wished for. I had the pleasure to have both Carissa and Tanya on our wedding day this past summer! We LOVED working with CTW and our photos turned out amazing! They are very well organized and when they work together they are an unstoppable duo. On the big day they helped coordinate pictures efficiently and made sure our schedule run accordingly. Even when we had a late start with out first look, they reassured me that we had plenty of time because they built extra time into the schedule. I also have been a bridesmaid in 5 other weddings in 2016 around the state of Iowa. Several of those weddings did not have good photographers! It shouldn't be the bride who has to coordinate shots and think about how it should look! The point is not to find pictures you want to re-create. You want the photographers to be creative and come up with ideas based on the venue. Those are things I have seen other photographers lack in. I hired Carissa and Tanya because they are creative, they make your big day run so smoothly, and they have an eye for great pictures! CTW was a great choice for our wedding photographer! I did a lot of research before choosing one because this was one of the most important vendors to me. Their photos were bright and natural looking, which was exactly what I was looking for. Tanya and Carissa were both easy to work with, especially with communication over email. They were prompt and helpful with any question. Our pictures were given to us in a very timely manner and we loved how they turned out! They are extremely organized, which made the day of our wedding go very smoothly. The preparation sheet they had me fill out prior to our wedding aided in this organization. "My wedding was in June 2013 and I must say the one thing that allows me to relive that day are the pictures that were taken. CTW Photography captured so many important and memorable moments that day. I had so many pictures to choose from and with the ability to purchase rights to the pictures, I also own a CD with all of the pictures to do with whatever I choose :)
The day of the wedding Carissa and Tanya were there from the time I got my hair and makeup done through the first dance and toasts. Although they were there every step of the day, they were never distracting or taking away any attention. They were very professional and organized- which is VERY important on your wedding day! I would highly recommend CTW Photography. I can’t imagine my pictures turning out any better than they did and I loved working wtih Carissa and Tanya.
