I've been attending shows since the 80s and the sound system is better than ever! The show was funny with beautiful music. The service was great. New owner Jim Basham does a fabulous job and he is very interactive and seems to care deeply about people's experience there. The Food was Gr8, loved the pumpkin desert and meatloaf.. Lol... Was yummie. The Atmosphere very elegant. The wait staff young very polite and proper also attentive.

The cast was the best. Great singing voices on top of the acting. Good choreography. Even though the stage was limited compared to movie scenery, they made such good use of it and the focus was on the performance, not the back-drop. I just saw Hedwig here and I cannot say enough. This was my first play in had seen at the Crown and I hope they do many, many more because this was just- ahhh!
So amazing that I've lost any ability to speak eloquently.
Venue is beautiful, too.

Thank you for the "A Christmas Survival Guide". I enjoyed the variety of new Christmas music mixed in with some traditional songs, performed by a talented cast and excellent musicians. I shot my first wedding last night in this theatre. It makes you work for Photos because of lighting. But it's worth it. I am sure pleased with photos. The service was fantastic also. They knew I was the photographer and didn't charge me for soda pop. I am diabetic so it was nice to have to be able to get Diet Dr Pepper. Sounds trivial but if you are diabetic this is big. Place was nice and cool! Restrooms and place was clean. It is so old and cool. Hope to get more chances to shoot here. It is not for the faint of heart if you only shoot flash and Auto. If that's all you got you better learn your camera. That being said if you get a chance to shoot here..DO IT. You can do so much with the photos to make them look old school. Plus this wedding was a masquerade wedding. Well hell this is a match made in heaven!!! More...

If you are looking for a uniquely magical venue, then look no further! We used the Crown for our wedding venue and it was beautiful! About two months before our wedding, the staff member we were in contact with ended her time at the Crown and J took her place.
