Unfortunately I broke my screen and had to file a claim via SquareTrade, CPR came in as recommended retail store. Upon arrival I was told to present the information and was told the screen wasn't available and had to be ordered. I work in car sales so my phone is vital to my profession. The repair was done as promised... However one week later I discovered my front camera wasn't functioning and the camera app was reseting. About two weeks later I went back and spoke to the  tech and advised him what the issue was and he stated that he didn't even touch the front camera and when he gave me my phone in working order and if it was an issue to take it up with SquareTrade. Fastforward I then discovered my phone was missing the front camera when I turned  the flash on and the light was seen through the front of where the camera should be. Luckily the guys over at CPR Simi Valley replaced and repaired my phone but it came with a cost to me. In all bad service, terrible mistake. More...

My iPhone 7 stopped charging, and after trying everything I could, the battery died with no way of charging it. I initially went to get my phone fixed at a location in the Topanga Mall, and was told that it needed a battery replacement, so that's what I got. All seemed well until I went to my car to charge it - that's when I noticed that it wasn't charging. I talked to staff at that location again, where I was told it was "NO REFUND" because they did a battery replacement when the real issue was that it needed a charging port replacement. (THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY RECOMMEND A PORT REPLACEMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?) Letting it go, I went to Edward's shop the same day where he confirmed that he could do a charging port replacement. After inspecting the phone we both noticed that I also had a Touch ID issue where my fingerprint wasn't being read. I told him about what happened earlier, and upon opening up the phone in front of me he showed me the port problem and that the other place had probably accidentally damaged a part when opening up the screen. He called the other place to vouch for me and asked them to return my money/battery because of what they did to my phone. On top of that, he replaced my screen with a discount (their screen has a lifetime guarantee) and offered me a low price for the port replacement. He also replaced my battery with a spare one he had so that I could go return the other battery for a refund. I appreciate that this place went above and beyond - especially after the stressful day I had. All of the work was done in under an hour too! Definitely go here, you'll get honest answers, real knowledge about your phone problem, and a fair price. Hopefully I won't need their services anytime soon, but they have a customer for life! Thank you CPR Cell Phone Repair! More...

I took my iPhone in to have the cracked screen replaced. Edward replaced the screen with a new one. Immediately, I started having problems with my wireless charger and the iPhone. It would skip around from app to app and change views while on the charger in the car. It would sign me out of Waze and iTunes, etc. This did not happen with my old phone (11 Pro) or my husband's 11 Pro Max. Took the phone back and Edward confirmed that there was an issue. He replaced the screen again with a new one. Same problem. He said it was completely the charger's fault not the screen's, even though I said that this didn't happen before the change and it didn't happen to my husband's phone. He put my old screen back on refunded my money. Now I'm no longer having the problem. Either the screens he put on were faulty or they were installed incorrectly. Bottom line you should always listen to the customer. The industry is just way to competitive to not do so. I will escalate to Apple. More...

BEWARE! This guy is friendly at first, but if there is any problem with your repair, he will do nothing for you. I broke the screen on my iPhone, he charged me $150 for the repair. I came back a couple weeks later because it was not functioning normally all the time. Glitching, sometimes over responsive, and sometimes not responsive at all. Some features didn't work at all anymore. He told me that if he changed the screen again, it would do the same thing. So I asked him what I should do, he told me to keep trying it and maybe it would relearn and fix itself. 2 weeks had passed and the screen function was the same from day one. So I asked him again what I should do to resolve the problem, and he didn't have an answer. He said that's how the iPhones are supposed to function. One of the first things he said to me was he's not familiar with how the iPhones work, so I'd have to show him how certain functions work. So he went from not knowing how the phone works (even though he literally deals with phones all day long, that's his job), to now knowing exactly how it's supposed to function. He was not willing to refund me or resolve the problem in any way. He's a terrible business owner, and in my opinion, a terrible person. He also does not even attempt to wear a mask during this pandemic. If your repair happens to go smoothly, good for you. I'm sure some repairs work out just fine. But if you happen to have a problem with the repair, expect to get ripped off. This guy is a liar and a cheat. More...

My phone battery kept dying but the Apple store wasn't  open yet due to all the closures. I was very hesitant to try a little store I'd never used. Edward was super friendly and could have sold me a battery, but checked my phone and said I didn't need one, but my charging unit wasn't working and needed to be replaced.  I wanted my battery changed as well and he talked me out of spending the money when I didn't need it. 10 STARS right there if they are available! Andrew fixed my phone immediately, even gave me a discount when I mentioned I wasn't working with this pandemic situation. Was super friendly, extremely professional, very fairly priced, and he is totally honest. Perfect neighborly store that I will share with everyone and the next time I have an issue, I know exactly where I'm going! Thankfully the Edwards of the world still exist! More...

I was there yesterday, May 28th 2020. What a wonderful experience. The owner himself took the phone and said he needed an hour.  In 45 minutes he was finished and my phone looks and works perfectly.  I was most pleased that he didn't up sell or attempt to add on anything.  Truly nice to do business with a true gentleman! Edward was friendly and fast in replacing the screens for my iPhone 6 and my daughter's iPhone 6S Plus. He even installed the screen protector.  I got several quotes from various businesses and he was the cheapest.  I'm a satisfied customer and would recommend CPR phone repair to my friends and family.
