What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I believe composition is a big part of what makes a photo great. The image needs to tell a story and composition is what will lay the ground work. The other part of a great image is lighting which sets the mood or the tone of the story you are trying to tell.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Some important things to know about yhe project a client is hiring a photographer for would be: 1) what is the purpose or the goal of the photos? 2) How will you be using the images? 3) How many images do you feel you need, and how much time will I have to shoot? Those are the top 3 questions. Other questions come after knowing the answers to the above. The purpose of asking questions is find out what is needed to deliver the proper images that will give the client what they hired a professional for.
What do you love most about your job?
My passion is serving my clients. Being a photographer is not cookie cutter at all. Every new project is different and challenging, and that is awesome!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for companies in the past and the main thing that always made me crazy was not being able to service the client the way I wanted to and the way they needed. You were always constrained by time or policy. By having my own business, I can serve my clients and work with them, without constraints holding me back. This allows me to provide a higher standard of work amd deliver, not only a quality product, but a great customer service experience.

I believe the one thing setting me apart from others that do what I do is my desire to serve. There are many great photographers out there, but there is so much more to just delivering good images. Delivering a great overall service experience, in my opinion, gives the client the ability to feel confident in their investment with photography.
