I always want to get to know the people I am photographing. For instance, when I photograph high school seniors, I always ask what their interests, past times and what courses/activities they are involved in. I also want to know what they are looking for and what type of session they would like. When i can talk to them, we can build a session together and that always makes for a much better session.

I love getting to know people and to see their excitement build through their session and when they receive the photos and other keepsakes they have ordered.

I had been photographing horses at a local barn. The barn manager and horse owners liked the photos and asked if I would be interested in a day of photographing sessions with the owners and their horses. That question led to a photography business.

My clients have said that my sessions are fun and relaxed and their photos turn out much better than they expected.

My photography sessions are obviously conducted in person. I travel across Indiana to photograph sessions for my clients. I then make the edited photos available via an online gallery where they can review the photos. I then offer both in person or zoom meetings where they can choose the photography package that is right for them!

I keep in close communication with my customer and inform them if I have been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19. If I am ill (COVID, cold or flu) I will postpone the session if possible or find or help find another photographer if the session date/time can not be rescheduled.
