Best bottomless brunch in Brea!!! My parents came into town and this was the first and only place that came to mind. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing! We went for the second time right after they had remodeled and it really is such a pretty place. We definitely want to come here for brunch again soon. Also the mimosas are great! Service was great, food was great, drinks were great. Was a little pricey, but I think it's fine for a date night. Chicken flautas were so delicious. My boyfriend got the barbacoa and I got the enchiladas trio. My favorite of the 3 was definitely the shrimp enchilada in the lighter, creamy sauce. The hibiscus mole was interesting but I think I prefer my mole without any acidity. I got one of the wine-a-ritas which they make with agave wine and it was so good!! The space was cute and I had a nice server. The food and drinks were not good. Had the aguachile but it tasted bland. I don't typically like my food too salty but there was no flavor. The salsa tasted like terrible marinara. The drinks are made out of agave wine instead of liquor, which I get because liquor licenses can be expensive. Some of the dishes are hit or miss, for an upscale Mexican restaurant at upscale prices not really acceptable. Many of the dishes were so under seasoned as many of the Yelpers mentioned, we agree! Appetizers: guacamole was no salt, no lime and an overwhelming amount of red onions it made my eyes water - I could not eat $14 bucks. Ceviche was fresh fish and shrimp, but again no salt, ok. Salmon tartare and Ahi Aguachiles, again fresh fish but lacked flavor and everyone said was under seasoned. We ordered the fajitas with carne asada was good, Mahi Mahi Veracruz was good, sea bass tempura chile relleno was ok. Husband and I had the El Tamal, ugh was a epicurean let down. The sweet tamale brick was dense, chicken on top and the sauce tasted like tomatillo and mayonnaise- blah, I couldn't eat it! Their black beans were good/smoky chipotle flavor. I really wanted to like this place, I live in Fullerton and wanted to try something new. I thought I was going to a mexican restaurant and was looking forward to having a margarita but turned out that they only served Wine-arita which was far too sweet and made of wine with no real tequila, we were sat near the kitchen and greeted by the waitress who was not very friendly. I asked for a champagne since there were no margaritas and the waitress very rudely said, we don't have that. I then asked for a diet coke, no free refills but was charged 15 bucks for 3 diet cokes. I was lucky enough to visit this resturaunt a couple weeks ago. Overall my experience was amazing. The staff was courteous and very attentive. The venue seemed well staffed and we never had to wait. I went on a saturday night. The decor was upscale, it was still good quality for a date night. The biggest complaint I had would be the bathrooms. They were clean but they reminded me of a fast food resturaunt. They weren't nice. The food was the best i've had in a while though OMG. I ordered the rib eye steak. It was one of the juiciest and most flavorful steaks that I can remember in recent memory. It was more delicious than much more expensive steaks that i've had at other resturaunts. Delicious food. Clean and pretty inside space. We ordered the tamal and the seafood enchiladas. The el tamal was really tasty. Had a lot of corn sweetness. The enchiladas were healthy tasting and delicious. The only thing that was a little off was that our server was pushy with having us order appetizers and drinks. We came for lunch and didn't want to overeat, or to drink really so we had to say no a few times. Lively music and a very cool vibe when you walk in. The restaurant used to be a movie theater that's been converted to a restaurant so it's got very high ceilings and an industrial feel. Our food server, Chris, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It was helpful that we came in during happy hour so the drinks and appetizers were 1/2 price. My two friends and I had guacamole and the tostaditos de ceviche to start -- both fresh and tasty. Our main courses were the rib eye tacos, fabuloso tenderloin and the trio of enchiladas. I know my table partners raved about their meals and I was very impressed with the enchiladas -- cheese, shrimp and mole. Each one more delicious than the last one. What a DELIGHT! The ambiance is lovely, and yet still a. Very comfortable vibe. Our server Sunny was WONDERFUL! We sampled their agave wine, and their salsa is excellent. I ordered the chicken taquitos in hue corn tortillas and they were fab! They came with such a generous portion of yummy guacamole My fiancé got the ribeye tacos and they were also spectacular. Restaurant is going downhill. They changed the menu with fewer options and prices are much higher, the place is bigger looks very nice inside but it's very empty, service is great friendly employees but the food now isn't good anymore I remember coming here before and it was much better with a lot people and better food options now it's empty and quiet and not really anything good to order.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on some reviews I read but came out highly disappointed with the service and the food. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and it was heavily covered in a sour creme sauce which was overwhelming. The entire dish tasted like sour cream. I couldn't even taste the shrimp. We ordered guacamole and it literally came w/ 8 chips. Friend had a food allergy and asked for a couple of simple modifications and the waiter replied that the chef does not accompany modifications to the menu and he would ask if it could be done. They ended up putting everything for that dish on the side, which made it odd. Lastly, they don't do complementary desserts for Birthdays, which I thought was unfortunate. Rice & beans came out to us in side dishes and were COLD! We mentioned it to the servers and he didn't seem to care. Service lacked friendliness and attentiveness. I had to get up from my chair twice to find someone that would give us water and to ask about dessert. I won't be coming back and now I honestly question those reviews I read. This place was... a letdown.Definitely not worth the price or the hype of the yelp top 100. I feel straight up misled by that by the top 100 list sending me here. The service was T E R R I B L E. The food was decent, but not great. Edible, but everything needed salt.For appetizers we had the guacamole and the queso fundido as well as some caeser salad. Guac: 3/5 - it was fine, needed salt.Queso Fundido: 1/5 This was not what you'd expect. Great ambiance with a modern twist. The service is excellent with friendly servers and staff. Food is just ok. The brunch offering was very limited and has lots of room for improvements. If a modern day restaurant of any kind is going to offer brunch in Brea, bacon, sausage, toast and ketchup for the dry potatoes is highly recommend to add to the menu. Came here with my mom for Vday, and were looking for last minute reservations which they had shockingly because it was busy! When i tell you i was shocked how nice the manager was and how welcoming, our server was so sweet. I got the cucumber agave wine drink, and we got the ceviche for the app, that was really good. Then my mom got the chicken taquitos and i got the ribeye tacos. Let me just say that was the best tasting steak i've had no exaggeration. This place unfortunately was extremely understaffed for Valentines day and resulted in very long wait times for food, food not being served all at once, and music so loud we were having to yell the whole time to hear each other. I guess great customer service isn't officially dead! Lucio Pedro and Darrel all had their part with the Great customer service, wonderful food and good vibes. Customer service is not dead, I felt like I was on a speed date since all the food and seating came so quickly but didn't feel rushed, it's understandable for Valentine's Day. The recommended drinks and food options were on point and I am surprised they actually had reservations available since we booked them the night before. I would make a recommendation that they close the door on a chili night since it is a smaller establishment and the breeze fills the room fairly quickly. I am not trying to wear my coat after I spent hours getting ready lol. Good thing I had my lover by my side to keep me warm lol . But all jokes aside the attentiveness was 100 after receiving our food we had three separate staff ask us if everything was ok and if we needed anything.
