They are very easy to work with. They did a board and train with my dog Jax ( a German Shepard mix) and he did so well there. They managed his separation anxiety very well. Excellent experience with Common Ground Dog Training. John is a very intuitive trainer and doesn't believe in cookie cutter training. He adapts his training to fit the individual needs of the dog and owner to make sure that everyone has a positive experience. He is great with the dogs and even my German Shepherd that does not like people took right to him. John listened to my goals and we sat down and devised a plan to get my dog and I there. Our pup is a very high energy dog, mixed cattle dog. Since the first time we met John, when she was only 2 months old, John has been reliable, a great communicator, and a strong teacher for us and our wonderful dog. John has gone above and beyond, and we are very impressed with his spirit and approach. We can take her to the park and walks, and don’t worry about her running into the street or chasing squirrels. Helping us to channel her energy, has been a big part of the training process. Not only do we trust John, but our pup does too, which makes all the difference. Thanks to John’s guidance and experience, we have a funny and happy dog, who has been trained with smarts and heart. She is now 9 months old, and an amazing part of our family. Thank you John.

We have had a great experience working with John. He has been working with our Golden Doodle, ****, since he was 8 weeks old. He has helped us with everything from house training to sit, stay, and fetch. Our dog used to jump on every one and chew on everything, but he doesn't anymore.
