Classic Critter Care

I don't have a pet, but I saw a dude from this company pick up a dog poop bag that wasn't his and throw it away. For me that's 5-star behavior.

Don is (literally) a lifesaver!!  He isn't even my usual dogsitter, but was subbing for one of his colleagues, when I had an emergency that he bailed me and my 2 dogs out of.  .....So I was prepping to leave in 2 days for a trip to Hawaii, when Don came to take my 2 dogs for their walk. He found that they'd gotten hold of a bottle of naproxen (a painkiller for people), and it was lying mangled on the floor with pills scattered everywhere.  No knowing if the dogs had eaten any, but he cleaned them all up, called me immediately, and called me again at the end of the day to follow up.  Meanwhile, I'd taken them to the dog hospital, which kept them for 36 hours on IV fluids and stomach protectants...followed by discharge on a pill that needed to be ground up and mixed with water and squirted in their mouths with a syringe.  Just what you want to dump on someone else, no  Especially someone you have no prior experience with.  Anyway, Don not only offered to administer the meds when he came to walk the girls, he refused to take any extra pay, and called me to tell me how the girls were, and was basically the guy who saved my girls (and my vacation). This experience made me feel very vulnerable and scared, and Don Doggy Daddy just stepped in and kept things going.  He is the best!! More...

I have been holding off writing this review for a while, not because I wanted to wait to see how it went, but because I truly could not find the words to dictate how much of a relief it is to have found such a wonderful family to look after our pup. My fiance and I struggled with finding someone to watch our rambunctious lab for several months; and after a terrible ordeal with a local doggie daycare, I was very skeptical of who we could trust with our pup. The good news is that we stumbled across the Tierney family. The entire family is a joy to be around and for the first time in a year, I feel confident that Apollo is being well taken care of while my fiance and I are at work (we work longer hours, so it was important for us to find someone that would be able and willing to work with our hours). Don, Linda and their girls have been such a blessing, we could not be happier... and neither could Apollo his tail starts wagging the moment we turn on to their street. More...

My dog Corey went out on hikes with Don when I lived in Pleasant Hill. Corey loved the off leash hikes and being with other dogs. He even stayed with Don and his family when I was on vacation a couple of times. Don is very into his dogs and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. I wish I hadn't moved at times as Don was exceptional and Corey loved him. Don is very reliable and conscientious about his dogs. I would highly recommend him. More...

Don and Linda take great care of the dogs under their care.  My Springer, K.D., LOVES her walks with Don and company.  Don is very dependable and responsible.  My dog K.D. especially likes to see her friend, Riley.  Don's family adopted Riley from the rescue I coordinate, Golden Gate Springer Rescue, in 2011 and he has just the BEST home he could wish for!  Don and Classic Critter Care are the best!!
