The week of my shoot was like most weeks. I was full on anxiety, self-doubt and curiosity. These are 3 things that i’ve Had a constant battle with and it seemed as if i’d never be able to delete them from my prayer list. Who knew that meeting a stranger and spending a 1/2 hour with her and her side kicks (her camera and lenses) would help with the way I viewed those silly “issues”? Claire was so inviting and gentle! It was like she knew I needed a break through moment! The shoot was so much fun and made me feel as if I was my superstar look alike, (Queen Latifah....atleast that’s what I’m told! ) I trusted her with having fun and doing what she does best! I questioned all of the weird positions of the poses! Lol! She ensured that they wouldn’t look like they felt! She was so right! Needless to say, I absolutly LOVE every shot she captured! Looking at those photos help me to remember, despite my inner “issues”, I am beautiful, successful, deserving, free and a QUEEN! I highly recommend Claire for any type of session. So I did a thing: Boudoir Photos! I can only try and describe the absolutely amazing experience that I had. Claire is SO encouraging and happy for you as she’s taking these photos. She helped pick the outfits and was basically gushing over everything. You can tell that she LOVES her job and what she’s doing, and it really transfers over to you as the subject. I’ve never felt more comfortable in my life, funny enough!This is a photography shoot that I would NEVER have done, especially being the one in front of the camera, even a year ago. I’ve always been pretty comfortable with who I am and how I look- even when I was 40 pounds heavier. What has always kept me down was the comments I’ve always heard about being a larger lady, or what I’ve seen and read in various media outlets. Those comments hurt. Those comments stick with you. Yesterday, I didn’t hear one of those comments in my head.. I am who I am. I’m happy.When I received the full gallery - I was absolutely blown away. These photos look how I imagine myself. These photos showed off the real me. I'm used to looking at photos and being disappointed in how they turn out, because to me they don't capture it all correctly...Let me say: This was an INCREDIBLE experience. Claire is a very talented photographer! She is a diamond in a wheat field being in Athens and could easily fit in with the likes of professional photographers in big cities. I am so glad that even in Athens, we had access to an incredible and kind professional. I needed some professional head shots, so I decided to book a full portrait session to get those as well as some announcement photos for my law school choice and some fun personal portraits. Doing this session with Claire was the best decision I could have made, and I know I will treasure these photos for a lifetime! She was enthusiastic and supportive every step of the way, right down to helping me choose what to wear when I was unsure. I truly can't say enough good things about my experience. It takes a special photographer to capture a person's personality in pictures! Claire Diana did that exceptionally with my daughter's UGA Senior Photos! Claire is the BEST choice to document special times in your life! My graduation from the University of Georgia Graduate School is a huge deal for me because I am a first generation college student and Double Dawg. I knew that I wanted to make an investment in documenting this chapter of my life because these images will be cherished FOREVER. I legitimately couldn't have asked for a better photographer for my wedding day. I couldn’t dream of a better wedding photographer. Claire has years of experience under her belt and IT SHOWS. Aside from her phenomenal talent, she is a GOOD person to work with. Claire had her hand in nearly every aspect of our day, gently noting things like “since you’re getting married in this month, if you choose x time of day for ceremony, you’ll have golden hour light for post-ceremony portraits.” She took the time to scout our venue for spots that would be optimal for photos, worked seamlessly with our team of vendors, and showed amazing attention to detail. One of my favorite parts about working with Claire is that you can fully trust her. She took the time to discuss the feel of the wedding, get to know us as a couple, and understand what we wanted out of the final product. Come wedding day, I didn’t have to worry at all - I was able to rest in the full confidence that she’d capture every moment and detail that I’d want. A final note, Claire’s products are incredible. Claire is AMAZING!! I was very hesitant booking a wedding photographer because photos were a top priority for us. After meeting Claire, it was clear to me that she was the one. She is so personable and professional...and not to mention extremely gifted with a camera!! My wedding coordinator worked with her prior to my wedding and couldn’t say enough good things about her, which is incredible considering she works with hundreds of photographers. She is so easy to get in touch with and is always making sure every detail is in place. She created a photo timeline for the wedding day and was so timely with everything. We even got done early with some shoots and had time to spare. I had family members and friends come to me after the wedding asking who my photographer was and doting on how amazing she was. My boyfriend and I met at UGA our freshman year and we recently graduated together. We did a joint Senior session and Claire was absolutely perfect. My boyfriend is usually uncomfortable in front of the camera but Claire made him feel at ease throughout the whole session. This really made a difference and made the photoshoot so much fun! It's hard to put in to words how amazing Claire and her team are. Not only is Claire a phenomenal photographer, but she helped me with every step along the way with various other wedding tasks. I was able to get most of our vendors from her recommendations including the venue, the DJ, and videographer, and they didn't disappoint. She even helped us set up our wedding timeline, which was a huge relief. Our engagement photos were our very first time taking professional photos and we were nervous that the experience would be awkward. Claire made it such a fun time, and it ended up being a cherished memory rather than just a picture session. Claire kept in contact every step of the way of the wedding planning journey, and made it a very stress free process. The photos from our engagement session and wedding are absolutely breathtaking, and she got our wedding pictures back to us in just 3 weeks!
