LBDI, Inc. hired Chlebek Architects for a Dormer / Attic Renovation in Berwyn, IL. Chester Chlebek the Architect had previously completed a number of Projects in Berwyn and advised us that working with the City of Berwyn's Building Department may be more of a challenge then expected. Chester was correct and after several Permit resubmittals we received our Permit and the project was started. Notwithstanding, Chester was quick to respond to the revisions requested by the City and remained very professional throughout the process. I have hired AIA Architecture & Construction to prepare drawings for a plumbing system. The plumbing system had to be replaced from the basement to the second floor. In addition, AIA Architecture & Construction offered a consultation regarding the other remodeling options in the house.
Also, a 12 foot lintel/beam had to be replaced in the front wall of the house. The AIA Architecture & Construction had prepared drawings for the Building Department for this structural job. There are several reasons for my strong support in performing our due diligence. My wife and I solicited numerous bids for the job, CH + architect & contraction was the ONLY firm where both the architect and construction manager attended all planning meetings, and all questions could be answered, subsequently he was extremely professional, thorough and was on-site and hands-on for virtually everything his subcontractors did. I would definitelyy recommend Chester Chlebek, architect, to anyone who is remodeling a historic home.

He is prompt and very professional in every aspect of design and execution, including experience with Oak Park village approvals of building permits.

He is flexible and attentive to owners' wishes and plans.

One word of advice: be sure to be very explicit in describing your expectations to ensure that your express wishes will be followed.

I hired Chlebek Architects & Builders to provide architectural plans for my dream addition on my 1912 home in Oak Park. The architect, Chester Chlebek did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and incorporated it with the current building codes. His ideas and suggestions were also very helpful in taking advantage of every sq ft.

Chlebek Architects also expedited the permit process and everything went smoothly. This is not an easy task in Oak Park, still the entire process from plans to permit took only two months.

I was so happy with the service they provided, I decided to go with CH Architects for the construction part of the project. Needless to say, the G.C. services they provided surpassed my expectations.
